NEW CHEVROLETS OUT THIS WEEKEND
OSHAWA, Ont.
New styling, new
power and an all new
series--the Caprice-
highlight Chevrolet
for 1966, General
Motors of Canada an-
nounced today.
The Caprice series
will be "top of the
line" and will incl-
ude a custom coupe
with a distinctive
roofline, a custom
sedan model and a
six-passenger stati-
on wagon will also
be available., with
wood-grained trim.
A nine passenger st-
ation wagon will al-
so be available.
Chevrolet's lineup
totals 15 models in
four series. The
line includes Chevr-
olet, Chevelle, Che-
vy 11, Corvair and
Corvette.
Chevelle has a full
range of two- and
four-door sedans, co-
nvertibles and coupes
in two series with
nine models.
Chevy 11 has six
models in three se-
ries-- all redesign-
ed.
Corvair, with the
Corsa, Monza and the
500 series, returns
with optional turbo
supercharged rear-
engine power. Also
available are both
models of the power-
ful Corvette Sting
Ray
All models have
been restyled for
'66 in sparkling new
colors, dazzling new
interiors, and the
longer, lower and
wider look that will
be the pace-setter
this year.

A luxurius special
sport interior is st-
andard equipment for
the Caprice coupe. It
includes slim,tapered
Strato-bucket seats,
a lower instrument
panel, and a centre
console with a light-
ed carpet-lined com-
partment, ashtray,
courtesy light with
trim matching other
insets in the inter-
ior. The console con-
tains calibrated gen-
erator, temperature
vacuum and oil press-
ure gauges.
Elegance is stand-
ard with Caprice. In-
teriors are color-
harmonized with the
exteriors, insets
with the look of hand
rubbed walnut enrich
the doors, instrument
panel, glove compart-
ment door, floor con-
sole and the steering
wheel horn ring.
