THE FIRST Paul Hill of God- erich is No.1 on the list of B.B. subscribers and renewed this week bless his heart' Now entering it's third year of publication, The Bulletin has gone through several changes of format, type styles and fluct- uations in fortune as well. In .looking back over the two years, the publisher acknowled- es with gratitude the continu- ing loyalty and support of a surprising number of subscribers and business people, a good few of them having stuck through thick and thin from the outset. Other Huron publishers with whom we deal from time to time have been fraternally kind and have given every kind of help and co-operation. Without their sympathetic aid this little paper would long ago have dis- appeared into the limbo of lost things. As always, we look ahead to better days when conditions will permit improvements in The Bulletin which will make it of greater worth and service to this fine little community. Unlike contemporaries in resort towns, we have tried to maintain publication thr- oughout the year, but have found the sledding particul- arly gritty in the Spring months when activity of all kinds seems to slow to the vanishing point. We are reminded of the am- using sign we saw some years ago in a business establish- ment which is wryly approp- riate: "This is a non-profit enterprise. That's not the way we planned it, but that's the way things turned out". The crystal ball is murky and no great visions of the future are revealed, but it is our earnest hope that the old "Press on, regardless" spirit, bolstered by good luck and a sense of humor, will carry us through the weeks months, and possibly years ahead. • rhink you, one and all 0.111% Ballitrth Iguitetin Published Every Thursday at Bayfield, Ontario by ART ELLIOTT PUBLISHING LTD.
