come the eighth daughter of a
president to marry while her
father is in office.
"Live" colour television cov-
erage of her marriage to Pat-
rick John Nugent will take
place on Saturday, August 6.
This spectacular will start at
11:30 a.m. when the First Fam-
ily and wedding party are sche-
duled to leave the White House
for the National Shrine of The
Immaculate Conception.
With colour cameras strategi-
cally located at the Whit.?
House, at the Shrine and ,at
numerous other vantage points,
viewers will follow the colour-
ful wedding procession as it
moves from the White House
to the 'Shrine.
During the marriage and
Nuptial Mass, viewers will see
tours of the Shrine and the
White House, filmed interviews
With friends and relatives of
the wedding couple, and reports
on the many weeks of compli-
cated preparations that preced-
ed the wedding.
The first annual Supertest
Ladies' Open Golf Tournament
will be televised on CI'V's Wide
World of Sports on Saturday,
July 30 at 4:30 p.m. Gammen-
tatcxrs Will include Johnny
Flaw, Reg 'Sellner, Tim Ryan.

marsh and David A. Clark, at
St. George's Church.
The couple's parents are Mr.
and Mrs. John C. Hindmarsh,
Goderich, and Dr. and Mrs. J.
Ralph Clark, Peterborough.
The bride, given in marriage
by her father, chose a full-
length white peau de sole
gown with front lace panel.
Her cape-length veil of French
illusion was held by her heir-
loom circlet of orange blos-
soms. She carried a crescent
bouquet of white roses and
stephanotis.
Misses Sue, Joan and Kathy
Hindmarsh, sisters of the
bride, Miss Barbara Clark, of
Peterborough, and Mrs. Peter
Stewart, London, were bridal
attendants. They were gowned
alike in shrimp organza over
taffeta with matching colonial
bouquets of tinted 'mums.
Douglas Chenoweth was
groomsman and Peter Clark,
Bruce Jackson, Wayne Asher
and Johnny Hindsmarsh ush-
ered guests.
The couple will reside in
London where the groom will
enter his final year of medi-
cine at the U.W.O.
