John Jefferson, Timothy Deno hues, Owen Donnelly and others from the vicinity of and representing Donnybrook, were present, reminding the council that a petition from a number of ratepayers of the township was laid before the then acting coun- cil several years ago, requesting that a bridge be built for their own and the general public's aceumodation,and filed away -tit that time for further consider- atiou. They now asked to have this petition looked up, and action taken to have this job dine as soon as pos'ie• ble. The Foresters here held their annual dinner on 'Thursday, January 21.
