Letter To
The Editor
The Editor,
Dear Sir:
The Pioneer Park Associa-
tion is pleased to note that the
editor of the Bayfield Bulletin
has directed the attention of
the community to the deplor-
able condition of the steps ad-
jacent to the Pioneer Park.
The Association wishes to
make it clear that these steps
are on town property and so
do not come under the juris-
diction of our organization.
Needless to say we are deep-
ly concerned about their con-
dition and would hope that
your article will strengthen the
point of urgency for some ac-
tion op the two requests sent
by us to council since last Oc-
tober, that they be put in a
condition to make them use-
able for the numbers of people
who go up and clown to that
beach.
Sincerely,
F. H. PAULL.
President of Pioneer
Park Association.

BAYFIELD HARBOR PHONE 29
Owing to an overriding compulsion to stay in
the black, we've overcrowded the paper with advertis-
ing this week, thus leaving a minimum space for
editorial comment.
The same compulsion prompts us to direct the
readers' attention to a large ad. of our own which
presents the case for subscribing to The Bayfield
Bulletin which has undertaken to continue producing
itself on a year 'round basis.
It is essential that we have sufficient subscribers
to make it worthwhile for business people to avail
themselves of our advertising services. It's sort of
like a kitten chasing its' tail, or the what came first,
chicken or egg business. You just can't have one
without the other.
It has come to us over the years that one of the
best ways of getting action along specific lines is to
ask for it, specificially. That is why we urge once
again, fill out the application blank for a subscription
right now while the spirit is trying to move you.
Thanks .
