Betty Bowers of Royal Oak.
Mrs. Robert Heath and Mrs.
Jack Cluff were in Toronto on
Wednesday and Thursday of
last week.
On Saturday, August 29, the
members of the E.Y.F. and the
Young Adult Sunday School
class of the Zurich Evangelical
United Brethren Church gath-
ered at the home of Mr. and
Mrs. Clarence Schade for a
social evening in honor of two
of their members, Helen Grain-
ger and Wayne Horner.
Crokinole was enjoyed and a
presentation of two living room
lamps was made by Phyllis
Schade and Jean Rader with
Norma Geiger reading the ad-
dress.
Both Wayne and Helen
thanked the groups for their
gifts. Following this a wiener
and corn roast was enjoyed on
the lawn.
The ladies of the Zurich
E.U.B. Church honored Miss
Helen Grainger with a miscel-
laneous shower in the basement
of the church on Monday, Au-
gust 31.
Phyllis Shade escorted her
to a decorated chair on the

Helen thanked the ladies for
their many lovely gifts and in-
vited them to her trousseau
tea on Saturday, Sept. 5 Lunch
was served and a social half
hour enjoyed.
