The deceased had been for a , 'number of years employed with a large contract ing firm workiug at his trade as a car. penter. During the winter of 1889•90 he worked in one of the Southern hStatee and there contracted malaria and afterwards had la grippe, which developed into lung trouble. Last November he came home, and all that kind attention and good nursing could. do was of no avail.. Though 11ot un- expected, his death was very sudden..
