A very sad accident happened here
on Wednesday of last week. While
Hugh Prior was. engaged in delivering
a load of .mills to the cheese factory,
his horses became unmanagable and
upset the whole load of'., rnilk and
smashed the waggon. He immediately
got another'w°aggon and got loaded
again and started for the second titnF,
the team got frightened again and this
time they scan away and trailed D' Ir
Prior a considerable distance, breaking
his thigh and, it is feared injuring hint
inwardly. --On Saturday last, a fri .nd
ly match of foot ball was placed at
Gorrie,. between the Gorrie and Bel -
more clubs, The grounds were very
wet, ae it rained .all day. The Gorrie
boys were victorious by 2 goals to 0.
If the weather had been dry, it might
have been different, es some of the
Belhlore boys did not go on =aunt of
the wet.
