Cancer Unit
Meets In
Goderich
At the recent meeting of Huron

ciety held in St. George's Angli-
can parish Hall, Goderich, two
new films were shown. "The
Winners" stresses the impor-
tance of regular health checkups
t o protect against cancer. It
also examined the rationalizat-
ion of average citizens who claim
they are 'too busy' to go for
checkups. "Recruiting for Hope"
dealt with the importance of the
volunteer, and suggested looking
for new recruits in church, and
Various other community organ-
izations.
Robert Swartman, Goderich,
president, welcomed all present,
and Mrs. M. W. Durst, Unit
president, conducted the meeting.
She gave a short resume of the '
District Meeting held in
Kitchener in November, ending
with the thought of one speaker
who suggested that Service
is the rent we pay for our stay
on earth".
Reports of committees,, and
the wingharn Clinic report,
pointed up the dedicated service
being given by volunteers.
A letter of commendation
from Ontario Division was read

chairman and his Branch chair-
men for their work, and William
Barlow was presented with a ft
