After two world wars man is
still not at peace within himself.
This was part of the message
delivered by Rev. Dwight patter-
son ciiiring the annual Rememb-
rance Day services Thursday,
November 11.
"In spite of the sacrifices
of life in two world wars, strife
and turmoil remain in many parts
of the world", Mr. Patterson of
the Bethel Bible Church said in
his address to the „members of
the Royal Canadian Legion and
others who had gathered at the'
cenotaph. He pointed out that
such turmoil is because men are
not at peace within themselves,
nor are they at peace with God.
"Men are searching for real-
ity in life. The emptiness of
their hearts causes them to turn
to countless things 'such as
drugs, immorality, astrology,
quest for power and riches as
means of filling the emptiness.
