The event sponsored by the Huronview Women's Auxiliary features many different arts and crafts made during the year by the-residents. The residents of Huronview were entertained on Thurs- day Family Night to a program .from Goderich arranged by Mrs. Harrison. Miss Campbell showed pictures of a world tour that she had taken last year which were enjoyed by everyone along with several vocal duets by Mrs. Harrison and Mrs. Lindsay accompanied by Ed Stiles and guitar solos by Larry Ryan. Mrs. Mary John- son, who by the way is 9'7 years young and a great grand- mother of Larry Ryan, thanked the group for the very pleasant evening. George Harri's of Rapid City, Manitoba visited recently with Mr. and Mrs. Calder Mc- Kaig. Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Scott spent a few days in Toronto at the Royal Winter Fair and also visiting with friends. Mrs. Jack McGhee, Jackie, Roy and Judy of London visited on Saturday with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Otto Walker. ' Mrs. Jim Thompson and Rickie of Seaforth visited on Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. K. McKellar. Mr. and Mrs. Larry Gard- iner, Steven and Lisa visited on Sunday with Mr. andMrs. Bob Hulley and family, Winthrop. Mr. and Mrs. Calder McKaig and Mrs. Grace Scott visited on Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. E.H. Graham in St. Marys. Mrs. 0/. N. Binning, Mitchell spent Thurs- day with her parents, Mr. and mis. K. McKellar. Miss Frances Scott of London is holidaying at her home here. Mr. and Mrs. Otto Walker visited on Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. Hugh Currie and girls in Dorchester. Mr. and Mrs. Douglas Eyre and Richard of Shedden visited at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Scott. Rev. Jack Thompson of the Canadian Bible Society conducted service in Cromarty Church on Sunday, Mr. and Mrs. Hugh Scott were serenaded. by a chivari crowd on Saturday night. MANUEL - EATON A pretty wedding took place at Northside United Church,Sea- forth on November 6th at seven p.m. when Aileen Ivadel, daugh- ter of Mr. and Mrs, Walter Eaton, Seaforth, and Brian Max- well, son of Mrs. Frank Taylor of Danvers, Mass. and Mr. Earl Manuel of Dartmouth, N.S. ex- changed vows in a double ring ceremony, performed by Rev. Mervyn Reuber. • The bride chose a short length dress of slow white candlelight crepe designed with a low scoop neckline edged in narrow silver and white scroll braid and long full sleeves gathered at' the wrist. Her waist length veil of silk illusion net was held in place with a silver and rhine- stone tiara and she wore a tiny silver locket, a gift of the groom. She carried a small white Bible on which rested a corsage of pink roses, stephanotis and ivy. Miss Brenda Eaton, sister of the bride, was bridesmaid wearing a candy pink dress of soft trevira pebble-lace, de- signed similar to the brides. Her corsage was deep rose car- nations with silver ribbon. Mr. Glen Eaton, attended the groom. A buffet lunch was served at the home of the bride's parents on James Street. Mr. and Mrs. Manuel will reside in Seaforth. A shower was held at the home of Mrs. Keith Eaton, where the bride received many useful gifts from friends and relatives. Egmondville Correspondent Mrs. Charles Geddes Mr. and Mrs. James Mulli- gan visited with their daughter and son-in-law and family, Mr. and Mrs. T. O'Connor in Oak- , vine. Visitors at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Leo Teatero were Mr. and Mrs. Gord Bryant from Pet- erborough. Mrs. Wm. Thorne of Niagara Falls is visiting with her daugh- ter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Wm. St. Patrick's Roman Catholic Church, Dublin was the setting for the marriage of Pauline Mc- Laughlin, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. M. McLaughlin, R.R. 2, Dublin and Gerard Poland, son of Mr. and Mrs. A. Poland, R.R. 2, Dublin on October 16th at 2 p.m. Rev.Dale officiated. The bride, given in marriage by her father, chose a floor- length gown of sata peau sheer, fashioned with Venise lace com- plimenting the wedding band neckline, Victorian sleeve and Empire bodice also gracing the soft A-line skirt in two bands above the hem and edging the attached Chapel length train. Daisy appliques were below the 'neck band and on the skirt. The daisy drimmed wedding band held her. waist-length veil. She car- ried-a cascade bouquet of pink roses. Barbara McLaughlin, R.R. 2, Dublin was the maid of, honour and wore a shocking pink poly- ester embroidered crepe,,with cranberry' Vest and bell sleeveS: She carried a bouquet' of pink and white carnations. The bridesmaids Rose- mary Poland and Donna Mc- Laughlin, both of R.R. 2, Dublin, were dressed in shocking mauve embroidered polyester crepe with full sleeves and carried yellow and mauve carnations. John Poland of R.R. 2, Dublin was the groomsman and the ushers were Ron McLaughlin and Peter Poland of R.R, 2, Dublin.. Lynda and Anne Albert played guitars during the Folk Mass and Larry - Murray was the soloist. The reception was held in the Brodhagen Community Centre. For their wedding trip to Northern Ontario, the bride 'travelled in a pant suit consisting of a camel jacket with gold buttons, brown turtleneck sweat- er, brown slacks and brown accessories with a corsage of yellow carnations The couple will reside at 53 Chesterfield Avenue, London, Ontario. • Guests" were 'present from Stratford, London, Clinton, Blyth, Goderich and Milton.
