Seaf6rth Branch of the Royal Canidian Legion will
' observe Remembrance Day with a Service at the
CENOTAPH, VICTORIA PARK
on
Thursday, November 11th
at 10:45 a.m.
The Legion extends a cordial Welcome to all School
Chlidren, Boy Scouts, Girl Guides, Cubs, Councils of Sea-
forth, Tuckerstrnith and McKillop, all other organizations,
smithe general public, to loin In the Service.
Representatives of Organizations who are pre-
senting Wreaths are asked to be at the Legion
Hail at 10:30 to pick up Wreaths. •
The parade, in which Veterans are invitea to take
part, will

A fashion show of ingeniously
concocted hats, made from bits
and pieces found around any
house, preceded a bazaar and tea
held by the women of Egmondville
United Church Saturday.
All the hats were made and
modelled by members of the
Twilight Circle of the United
Church Women.
Each hatr, r had a special
theme - - dish washing articles,
sewing notions, a Hallowe'en
table centerpiece complete with
pumpkin aid candle, baby's
necessities, tea table theme even
to the teapot, baking utensils,
cleaning supplies, a flower
centerpiece arrangement, a
candy centerpiece arrange-
ment and the final model - - a
witch complete with high black
witch's hat. Some of the hats
were later sold at the bazaar.

fairs concerning the Provincial
Municipal Employment Incentive
Program for the township for a
winter• works program. espec-

situation for welfare recipients
or those unemployed.
Receipt was reported by
Clerk James McIntosh of the
unconditional grant to the town-
ship for half of the year 1971
amounting to $5398.35.
The meeting adjourned at
12:30 a.m, to meet again on
December 7.

Mrs. Kenneth CarnOchan. In
charge of decotations was Mrs.
E. F. Durst who used red maple
leaves and Indian corn to
decorate the church school room,
as well as a pumpkin made up
as a jolly goblin. The tea table
centerpiece was an arrangement
of bronze and yellow mums and
ivy with smaller arrangements of
same flowers on individual tables.
