Dr. Matheson has just retired from Dow Chemicals with which' he was director of . Research and Development for many years. During his forty years with the firm such products as styrene, styron and• saran were invented. Mr. and Mrs. Will Bishop of Guelph were visitors last week at the home of Rev. J. Ure and Mrs. Stewart'. 'The facilities offered by the Program fncl ude. Physiotherapy , home nursing, (supplied by the Victorian Order of Nurses in Strat- ford) and homemaking as well as Laboratory and X-ray services oh an Out-Patient basis where needed. In order to be eligible, one must be referred by their family 'doctor from the hospital or the community and, the patient must require one of the professional services to qualify. Homemaking is supplied where needed along with one of such professional services. At the moment honiemakers are being co-ordinated by the Home Care office and anyone requiring a homemaker only may call the Home Care offi at 527-0440 ,and obtain a list o s and tele- phone numbers of those available for this service. Visiting Nurse service through the Victorian Order of Nurses is available by Cal ling the Seaforth Comniuni ty Hospital at 527-1650. Only when the Visiting Nurse or Homemaker is authorized by the Home Care Program will the ser4 vice be paid, etherwi se payment' is the responsibility of the em- ployer.
