las, with the president, Mrs.
James Miller in charge. Mrs.
Gerald Carey read an article

at Women's Work". The roll
call was answered by eight mem-
bers. During the business it was
decided not to hold a meeting
in November and to, invite one
guest to the December annual
meeting. New drapery material
for the Sunday School room was
chosen. ,
Turkey may be thawed at
room temperature in its un-
opened package till the bird is
pliable. When this amount of
thawing has taken place, the tird
ma y be placed in an insulated
picnic hamper or in the refriger-
ator to complete the thawing. A at
thawed,' fresh frozen turkey can
remain in the refrigerator for I
to 2 days before roasting.

Dr. Charles Toll has re-
turned, from Ottawa where he
attended the Canadian Dental
Association convedtion.
Rehearsals for the Seaforth
Junior Band have resumed and
are being held at 6.45 p.m. each
Thursday In the Town Hall.
Dr. C. E; Toll, who-is lead-
ing the band, said a new class
was starting and some instrum-
ents are available for beginners.
