Each entry to consist of one picture and to indicate where the picture was
taken and produce identification and technical Information (type of camera and ,
film). Negative must be included.
Not more than. three entries per person permitted (Children's entries welcome).

the normal flow from the lagoon
while the aeration cell improves
the quality of the effluent.
The sewage program in Lis-
--towel-was-developed_thr_eu_gh an
agreement with the Ontario Water
Resources Commission in 1958.
The initial project involved a
system of sewers and a 69-acre
waste stabilization pond for
sewage from the town and in-
dustrial waste waters from the
Campbell Soup plant.
When 'the volume of wastes
became excessive, the OWRC
established that the industrial
source 'was chiefly responsible

The bride is the daughter of
Mr. and Mrs. John Shea, R. R. 5,
Seaforth, and the groom's parents
are Mr. and Mrs. Vincent Murray
R. R. 5, Seaforth.
The church was decorated
with, daisies for the occasion, as

by her father. She chose a floor-
length Empire gown of white
summer-crepe trimmed with
lace on the bodice and skirt.
A detachable chapel-length train
fell from the ghbulder and it
was also trimmed in lace. The
dress ' had full sleeves with 'a
wide 3 button cuff. A three-
tierried bouffant veil was held
by -a Juliet cap covered with
summer-crepe and lace. She
carried a natural-coloured
wicker basket of white and yel-
low daisies and orange roses.
The maid-of-honour, Miss
Sharon Shea, Seaforth, wore a
white floor-length gown with tiny
aqua, yellow, orange and lime
green threaded dots. The stand-
were
method of installation. The
aeration cell is now in oper-
ation, treating the wastes as
they refill the lagoon system.
The aeration cell in-
corporates two 30-hp pumps
which physically stir up 'the
contents of the water to bring
the sewage in contact with, the
air. Each of the aerators sup-
plies 110 pounds of oxygen per
hour to break down the bacteria
matter in the wastes.

Lighted Candelabra and

flowers formed the setting in
Londesborough Unifed Church
when Margaret Jean Stewart and
Floyd Bruce Smith exchanged
wedding vows in a double-ring
ceremony performed by Rev.
Stanley C. McDonald.
Traditional wedding music
was played by Mrs. Harry Lear
and she accompanied the soloist
Mr. Harry Lear who sang, The

beside you."
The bride is the only
daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd
Stewart, R. R. 1, Clinton, and the
groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs.
Bruce Smith, R. R. 2, Blyth.
The bride, given in marriage
by her father, wore a white
imported organza gown over taf-
feta, featuring a scoop neckline
and full sleeves finished with
rows of lace to a set-in cuff. The
bodice was lavishly trimmed with
lace and seed pearls and the
skirt was very full with rows of
lace with small bows of satin
ribbon., The centre of attraction
was a built-in Chapel train and
small bows at the waistline. She
wore a silk illusion Cathedral
veil, edged in lace and it was
attached to her matching Juliet
bonnet.
The bridegroom's gift to the
bride was a strand of cultured
pearls with matching ear-rings...1
She carried a cascade 'bouquet of
pink sweetheart roses, white
stephanotis, blue cornflowers and
shasta daisies.
Miss Myrna Halmes of Ottawa
was maid of honour and the
bridesmaids were Miss Dianne
Chamney, Belgrave, and Miss
Kerry Tall, Blyth. 'The flower
girl was Miss Barbara Forbes of
Clinton.
All the attendants wore lilac
and white printed chiffon A-line
wrist. The front of the bodice
was gathered under a cuffed col-
lar and the empire waist was
trimmed with a self band, ending
in a large bow at the back. They
all wore little lilac roses in their
hair and carried baskets of multi-
coloured flowers.
The groomsman was Mr.
David Thomson, Toronto, and the
ushers were 'Harvey Stewart,
Clinton, brother of the bride,
Ricky Smith, Blyth, brother of the
groom and Douglas Langhorn,
London.

For a wedding reception and
dance held in the Legion Hall,
Clinton, the bridal party was
assisted in receiving by the
bride's mother who wore a mauve
fortrel dress with bead and braid
trim and a yellow sweetheart rose
corsage. She was assisted by
the groom's mother who wore a
yellow fortrel dress trimmed
with lace and a multi-coloured
corsage.
The bride chose a navy and
-white--fortrel__and _lace pant suit
'for travelling with a re-CC-aril-a-
tion and white stephanotis cor-
sage.
Mr'. and Mrs. Smith will re-
side in London. Mr. Smith who is
'a graduate of the University of
wate'rloo is employed with the
Honeywell • Computer Company
and Mrs. Smith is a 1971 graduate
of the Perth-Huron Regional
School of Nursing.
Guests were present from
Ottawa, Winchester, London,
Michigan, Danville, Virginia,
Toronto, Bramalea, Owen Sound,
Wiarton, Levack, Sudbury, and.
the surrounding district.
Prior to her marriage the
bride was feted with showers
given by Mrs. Robert Gibbings,
Mrs. Murray Adams, Mrs.
Gordon Barker and Mrs. Clifford
Adams.
Seaforth V had thefr first
meeting on Dairy Fare when
officers were elected. They are

white pictu're-hat had a yellow
sash to match the yellow trim
on her dress.
The bridesmaids' dresses and
hats were identical to the maid-
of-honour. but the colour of their
trim was different. Miss Betty •
Shea, London, had orange trim on
her dress and an orange sash on
her hat, while Miss Sharyn Burke,
Toronto, had lime green trim and
sash. They carried wicker
basketS of white, yellow and
bronze daisies.
The groomsman was Mr. Jiin
Murray, Seaforth, and ushers
were Mr. Paul Seyler, St. Agatha,
and Mr. Bill.C•ar,r1oc,bAn.,S.ea!orth..
They dressed similarly to the
groom in brown tuxedos, with
gold shirts and daisy boutonaeres.
The wedding dinner and
reception were held at Brodhagen
Community Centre where the
bride's mother received guests
wearing a hot pink dress with
white accessories and a corsage
of 'white carnations. She was
assisted by the groom's mother
who wore a mint green dress
with white accessories and pink
carnaotr a w ions.
For a trip to Northern
Michigan, the bride wore a yel-
low crepe dress with white ac-
cessories.
Guests were present from
London, Waterloo, Kitchener,
Saskatchewan, Toronto, Detroit,
Stratford, Ingersoll, and the sur-
rounding area.

daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Alec
Alvin Riley, of Londesborough,
exchanged wedding vows with
Kenneth Edgar Stoll, son of Mr.
and Mrs. Edgar Stoll, R. R, 3,
Kippen, in Londesborough United
Church on July 30,, 1971, with
Rev. Stanley McDonald officiating
the double-ring ceremony.
Wedding music was provided
by Mrs. Harry Lear, organist,
accompanied by Mr. Harry Lear,
who saiil "The Wedding. Hymn"
and "0 Perfect Love".
Given in marbiage by her

length gown fashioned of peau
de soie and lace in an A-line
style with an empire waistline.
The chapel-length train, also of
lace, was held by a large bow.
A pearl tiara held her shoulder
length veil. She carried a nose-
gay of yellow sweetheart roses,
white stephanotis and white
shasta daisies.
Mrs. Robert W. (Linda) Storey
sister of the bride, was matron
of honor, in a floor length yellow
gown, A-line style with empire.

de sole floor length train. She
wore a nylon hat to match the
colour of her dress. The brides-
maids dressed in mauve gowns
styled similar to the matron of'
honor, were Mrs. Bryan (Brenda)
Finlayson, Staffa, and Miss Mar-
lene Osch,, R, R. 1, Varna. They
carried prayer books covered
with white and yellow shasta
daisies and mauve sweet peas.
Gary Dayman of R. R. 3,
Kippen, was groomsman, and
guests were ushered by James
Stoll, R. R. 3, Kippen, brother of
the groom, and 'Raymond Riley,
Londesborough, brother of the
bride.
The reception was held at
the home of the bride's pareflts.
The bride's mother wore a mauve
dress with white accessories and
aeersage of multiple mums to

with a multiple corsage of mums.
The bride wore a mint green

for a wedding trip to Niagara
Falls. -They will reside in Wctod-
ham.

Federations of Agriculture the
Ontario Water Resources Com-
mission is. developing a spray
disposal system for the Listowel
°sewage lagoon which will

claimed that the discharges. had
affected the Maitland for many
miles west of Listowel.
