TRANSPORTATION
MANAGER
Reporting to the Superintendent of Business
Affairs, the transportation manager will be
responsible for the efficient operation of the
school bus system, both Board owned and
contracted systems involved.
This position will involve a continuing
systematic review of all existing routes,
contracts, student concentrations and facilities
with a view to minimizing costs and improving
service.
This is a senior position and salary paid will be
fully competitive.

Gathers For Reunion
An enjoyable day was spent by
all who attended at the home of
Mr. and Mrs. Russell Miller
for the annual Wallace picnic on
August 14. The family, forty-four
of them, had two delicious •meals
on the front y aid and there were
races, prizes, candy scrambles
and balloons and ice cream.
The oldes t member of the
family present was Mrs. Wesely
Roc of Seaforth and the youngest
present was Jeremy Miller, son
of Mr. and Mrs. `Ken Miller of
Seaforth. A gift was also sent
to Scott Lamont, son of Mr. and
Mrs.. Sandy Lamont , who was
the youngest in the family (a
few days old) but still in the
hospital and unable to attend.
The closest anniversary prize
was presented to Mr. and Mrs.
Bill Orr.
Games were enjoyed through-
out most of the afternoon
arranged by Mrs. Ruth Yendal
and Heather Wallace.

mittee of four made up of the
director of education, the
board's business administrator
and two teachers. They will set
salary increases based on 6.9
per cent of the 1971-72 payroll.

St. Columban defeated Hibbert

Dublin North, 17-12. The House
League Championship was won
by St. Columban North.
• In Exhibition Games, Junior
Girls Brodhagen defeated Dublin
24-18, Expos defeated Mets, 11-5
and Goodtimes defeitiid Sun-
shines, 11-7. There were ap-
proximately 500 people pesent
who enjoyed watching the tames
