26th. Another member will
graduate shortly. Are you
whittling off the pounds on your
own? If not, do come back!
During the summer months
everybody is pitching in to help
with whatever jobs need to be
done and all the members pres-
ent are parti 'eating to make the
meetings mo - interesting.
Mrs. Lobb will be with us on
August 9th. She will show us how
to play volleyball. Members that
cannot participate in active
sports will have a friendly get
together after the regular meet-
ing. This will be a special
meeting for the young and the
young at heart. Bring your
friends. They will be our
welcome guests.
Remember, you voted to keep
the club going during the summer
months, so help to keep it that
way by attending the meetings.
Losing weight is hard work and
we all have to make special
efforts . Don't forget the diet
lecture and demonstretton ...oaf
exercises held by Ida Burns and
Associates on September 27th.
This will be followed by a sample
diet supper served buffet style.
The club is over two years old
now and we hope our special night
on Sept. 27th will be a reunion of
all former members as well as a
belated-birthday-pa rty.
The' children's group will be
meeting at 8 o 'clock with the -
adults during the summer
months. We also welcome teen-
agers who have the honest desire
to lose weight. It is never too
late for a fresh start. If you
need it , , do come back next
