fitted bodice was styled with high
neckline and long fitted sleeves.
She carried a white Bible dec-
orated with pink rosebuds and
stephanotis.
Mrs. Alice Andrews, matron
of honor and Miss Dale Berna..s-
coni, bridesmaid, wore identical
gowns of pink polyester _crepe
trimmed with "white lace. They
carried nosegays of white sha.sta
daisies and pink straw flowergb.„
Groomsman was Mr. Arthur
Aiken Of Clinton. Guests were
ushered by Mr. Everett Grasby
and Mr. Wayne Grasby of London.
The wedding reception was
held in the church parlour. Guests
were received by Mrs. Roy Cope,
Condon,, ronsin of the bride and
Mrs. Irene Pearce of Regina,
Saskatchewan, sister of the
groom. •
The couple will live in
Montreal after the first of August.
The bride was formerly organist
at Ontario Street United Church,
Clinton and, was music super-
visor at Clinton Public School and
Seaforth Public School.

St. Paul's Anglican Church,
Clinton, was the setting for the
marriage of Beverly Jean Cud-
more, Clinton, daughter of Mr.
and Mrs. Reg. Cudmore, Clinton
to James Douglas BroadfOot,
Brucefield, son of Mr. and Mrs.
John Broadfoot,Brucefield.Rev.S,
Sharpies, Clinton and Rev. Lt.
Stewart officiated.
The bride, given in marriage
by her father, wore a floor-
lenghtik • A-Line gown of tradit-
ional white lagoda with a scoop-
neckline, long sleeves and bodice
of rachel lace. The detachable
train, which was fastened at the
waistline with a self bow, was full-
and flowing and trimmed with
matching lace. A cluster of
daisy-like flowers held• . her
elbow-length veil. She-carried
a:bouquet of white mums and baby
yellow roses. '
Mrs. Sharon Brindley of
Goderich was her friend's matron
of honor and the brideimaids
were her cousin, Miss Helen•
Cudmore of Clinton and Mrs.•
Sandra Hayter, Varna, friend of
the-bride. They wore floor-
length gowns of yellow polyester
chiffon with Empire waistline
which was accented" withorange
and green lace medallions.
Three-quarter-length pleated
,bell sleeves and yellow picture
hats completed their ensembles.

They all carried baskets of
orange and yellow shasta daisies.
Ed. Kroll of Oshawa was' best
man and the ushers were Ted
Cudmore Clinton and Rick
Burdge of Brucefield.
Traditional wedding music
was played by Miss Cathy pot-
ter..

polyester crepe, white accessor-
ies and .corsage of white mums.
For 'the wedding trip to
Northern Ontario and Western
Canada, the bride travelled in
a turquoise pant suit with
white' accessories and corsage&
white daisies.
The couple. will reside in
Windsor, Ontario.
Wedding guests were present
from Toronto, Cleveland,
London, Kitchener, Seaforth,
Clinton and area. -
Before her wedding,; the bride
was honored at a shower in the
home of Mrs. Gordon Cudmore
held by Miss Helen Cudmore and
Mrs. Sharon Brindley. It was
a miscellaneous, shower for
friends and relatives.

Joanne Alice, daughter of Mr.
and Mrs. Delmer Meidinger, Sea-
forth and Joseph Federer, son of
Mrs. Katherine Federer, of Kit-
chener, were united in marriage
on July 3rd at 5 o'clock in St.
James Roman Catholic Church by
Father Laragh.
Given in marriage by her
father, the bride chose a gown of
lace over satin with long lace
sleeves and a long train. Her
three-quarter length veil was
held by a tiara . She carried a
bouquet of *kite daisies.
Mrs. Phyllis Jeffrey of South-
ampton, was her sister's attend-
ant in a blue lace pant suit
similar to the bride's gown. She
carried a nosegay of white daisies
and pink carnations.

Ontario Street United Church,
.Clinton, was thescene of the
wedding on July Id; 5:00 p.m. of
Lois Grasby and John
Bernasconi. The bride is the
daughter of Mr. Harry Grasby,
Blyth and the late Mrs. Grasby
and the groom is the son of Mr.
and Mrs. A. Bernasconi, Regina,
Saskatchewan.
The Minister, the Rev. Herb
Wonfor officiated at the double-
ring ceremony. Organist was
Miss Carolyn Hibbert, London,
who accompa.nied the soloist,
Mrs. Mary Hearn.
Given in marriage by her
father,' the bride wore a gown of

The wedding of Brenda Carol
Butt, youngest daughter of Mrs.
Roy Butt and the late Roy Butt,
to Peter Alvin Dale, son of the
late Mr. and Mrs. Alvin Dale,
was quietly solemnized in North-
side United Churchaon Saturday,
July 24th at 4 p.m. by the Rev.
J. Ure Stewart. Mrs. Ellen
Murphy was bridesmaid and-Mr.
4 Larry Dale, best man. Guests
were present from. Brantford,
Flint, Mich., Goose Bay, La-
brador, Stratford and Seaforth.

in pink pant suits with long lace

Following the marriage a
reception was held at the bride's
parent's home, John Street. The
bride's mother received wearing

crepe dress and the groom's
mother 'in a mauve crimp knit.
For going away the bride
chose a blue and white pant suit.
The couple will reside' in
Guelph where the bride is on.
the teaching staff.

ceremonies and sang the nuptial
mass. Father Laragh was pre-
sent in the sanctuary.
The organist was Mrs.Alice
Stiles, Seaforth, and a choir of
children from St. James' School,
Seaforth, where Miss Vogel s
taught sang "All the Earth",

Miss Vogels wore a dress of

ioned princess lines, Empire
waistline •and long fitted sleeves.
The dress featureda lohg train
attached at the waistline. A flower
duster held her four tierred
veil and she carried yellow roses,
white carnatiohs and stephanotis.
Miss Willems, wore a gown of
organza crepe made on princess
lines with stand-up collar, long
puffed sleeves with cuffs, collar
and bodice appliqued with cotton

Miss Vogels' 'attendants were
Miss Nellie Vogels, sister of the
bride as maid of honour. Miss
Joanne Miltenberg, London and
Miss Dorothy Van Doornick,cou--
sin of the bride, Seaforth, were
the bridesmaids. The flower girl
was Carol MacGregor.. and the
ring bearer was Bert, Middegaal.
The attendants wore similarly
styled dresses in mint green
with lowered necklines, puffed
sleeves, Empire waistlines and
trimmed with green and white
daisies. They. each carried- a
cascade of white daisies and
wore daisies in their air.
The grcomsman was Mr.
bert Van Steelandt, brother of
the groom and the guests were
ushered by Willy Andries, Delhi
and Paul Vokelsi_gb-rfitlier-Ortbe
bride, Dublin.
..Mrs.• Anne Van Rooy, sister
of the bride, Drumbo, was matron
of honor for Miss Willems and
the bridesmaids were Miss Jose-
phine Willems, sister of the
bride, Seaforth, and Miss Jacque-
line Van Doornik, cousin of the
groom, Seaforth. The flower
.girl was Anne Marie Van Rooy,
niece of the bride, and the ring
bearer was Jeffrey Visser, Sea-
forth. • They were • •attired • • in
gowns of similar 'design in pink
crepe, low neckline's, Puffed
sleeVes with daisy trim and ac-
cented with bows and 'flowing
streamers at back. They carried
-nosegays of pink carnations and
white chrysanthemums.
The' best man was John
Vogels; brother of the groom, and
the ushers were Tony Van Bakel,
Dublin and peter Willems,
Dublin.
At a dinner and reception held
at the Legion.Hall, Seaforth, for
the two couples, Mrs. Vogels
wore a yellow coat and dress
ensemble, white accessories' and- •
a coratigeof orange delight roseS.u.,
The groom's mother, Mrs. Van
Steelandt wore green and blue
nylon over taffeta with white

accessories and a corsage of
yellow roses. Mrs. Willems
wore a gold shantung ensemble,
with a gold cross and a corsage
of white carnations.
For "travelling to the Grand
Canyon, Arizona, the bride, Mrs.
Van Steelandt, donned a pink and
white hot pants ensemble with
white accessories and a corsage
of ,pink roses •and stephanotis.
On their return the young couple
will reside at 145 North Main
Street, Seaforth.
For a honeymoon to,Northern
and Eaktern Ontario the other
bride, Mrs. Vogels, wore a white
cotton lace hot pant suit with
short, puffed sleeves, white ac-
cessories and a corsage of pink
sweetheart roses. Mr. and Mrs.
Vogels-will live at R.R. 2, Staffa.
Guests were present from the
Netherlands, Sarnia, Drumbo,
Lucknow, ,Stratfor, ..London,
Dethi,44wen Sound, Blyth,, Ayl-
mer, Toronto, Oakville, Dublin,
St. Columban, Dashwood, Kippen
and Seaforth.
