PICNIC PAVILION
The Picnic Pavilion in available until 7:00 p.m. each
clay, without charge, for the use of picnic groups• on
a first-come, first-served basis. In the event of bad
weather, it will be expected that groups, will co-op-
erate to permit maximum Use being made 'of the
pavilion protection.
The Pavilion may be reserved each
evening after 7 o'clock for special
gatherings or Meetings.,
Reservations 'mall he made at the Park. Rental fees
arc related to the nature of the event, and will be
advised on request;

Reports have it that more than 50,000 young people will be
on the move in Canada this summer, hitch-hiking across the
country. For three- local girls, Janice Dietz (left), Elizabeth
McLean, and Carol Anne Doig, the goal is a little different.
The girls left Wednesday, June 9, for a 14 week hitch-hiking
lour of Europe, during which they hope to visit twenty-three
different countries. The g:rls are keeping careful diaries
and hope to be able to help others planning -similar trips in

NeW street lighting in Brod-
hagen was discussed at the
regular meeting of Logan Town-
Ship Council in Bornholm,. when
J. Ferguson, Manager of the
Stratford Division of the H. E.P.C.
sat in with council concerning the
matter. A meeting of the rate-
payers affected will be called at
a later date.
Aroval was given for the
severance of 10 acres off lot 16,
con. 2 for the building of a home
for the aged to be known as
Ritz Lutheran Villa. •
By-laws on Branch "B" of
the Biemers and. Hoegy Drains
-were finally passed.
Final inspection certificates
.were received on the Bruhin, Jos-
ling, Costello, Liffe, Osborn,
Branch #3 of the Hagerty ,and
