Mr. and Mrs. William P. e. Harvey of Morpeth, are
pleased to announce the engagement --of his daughter,
Merrilee Sharon, to Christopher Cleaiie Coombs, son' of
Mr. and Mrs. Cleave Coombs of Seaiorth. The wedding
will take place on July 17, 1971, at King Street United Church,
London, Ontario, with Rev. Cecil Jardine officiating. Both
are 1970 graduates of-Fanshawe College, London.

well over 900' were fed.

The 25th wedding anniversary
of Mr. and'Mrs. 'Michael Coyne,
was marked by a High Mass of
Thanksgiving in St. 'Columban
Church. The celebrant was Rev.
P. A. Oostveep.
Mr. and Mrs. Coyne were
married on, June 8, 1946 in St.
Patrick's Church, Iiublin, by the
late Rev. Dr. Ffoillkes. The bride
of 25 years ago, the former Mary
Jordan, is the daughter of Mrs.
Joseph Jordan, Dublin, and the
late Joseph Jordan. Mr. Coyne
is the son of the late Mr. and
Mrs. MattheW Coyne. The atten-
dants were Loreen (Mrs. Mc-
Dougall, London); Eileen (Mrs.
Frank Williams) and Jeanne
(Mrs. Maurice Ryan) all sisters
of Mrs. Coyne. Joe Coyne, now
of Port Dover, was -best man.
All were present at the 25th
anniversary festivities. '
Dinner for the, occasion was
served at the HuronHotel,Dublin.
In the evening a'reception was
held at the Legion Hall, Seaforth.
During the evening an address
Was 'read by Louis McIver and a
presentation was made of a re-
clining chair and a swivel chair,
on behalf of the neighbours and
friends . Their family presented
them with a chrome kitchen set.
They have a family of nine:
Patricia (Mrs.. Peter Feddema,
London); Kenneth; Gordon; Jo-
anne; Jean; Larry; Paul; Pauline;
Kevin and one grandchild.

has been sold to Ray Hutchison
of Woodstock-.
Alex Finnigan, who has 'ope1, ,r 7
ated the grocery business since
1966 said the store would carry
on as it has in the past with
emphasis on service and value.
Mr. Hutchison, a native of
S. askatcheWan, is no stranger
to the area. File settled here
following service in the Second
war and for a time was asso-
ciated with Jack -Stephen in the
grocery business in Seaforth.
After leaving Seaforth he spent
seven years with Lob. law's in
Kitchener and for the past 12
years has ,been in Woodstock.
MAs.,„Hutchison is the former
Adrlarie Bannon of Seaforth.
They have four sons and a daugh-
ter.
