The ceremony was per-
formed by Rev. Elwin Beukema
of the Christian Reform, Church,
.Clinton at the residence of
,Mr. Medema on Centre Street.
- Guests were present from
Brampton, Toronte and Clinton
and included 28 grandchildren
as well as 12 children and in- -
laws.
Mr. and Mrs. Medema will
reside in Seaforth where Mr.
Medema -PPerates Seaforth Up-
holstery.

Church, Zurich, was the scene
of a pretty spring wedding Satur-
day, Ma,y 29th at 3 p.m. when

Rev. G. A. Anderson, united in
marriage Kathleen A. Henderson
daughter of Mrs. John Henderson,
Hensel!, and the late John
Henderson, and Thomas A.
Neilands, son qf--M.r. and Mrs.
Paul Neilands of Hensall, in a
double ring ceremony amid a
floral background of standards
of yellow roses, blue iris and
baby breath.. Traditional wedding
music was played by Mrs. S.
Meldinger.
Given -In marriage by her
brother John Henderson, the
bride• was lovely in her floor-
length wedding gown of white
moss crepe, styled with empire
waist, smocked bodice, long full
sleeves gathered to a ruffle and
with a ruffle around the neckline.

length gowns of white batiste
bodices, peter pan collar trim-
med with ruffle, and long full
sleeves with ruffled cuff. The
skirts were of periwinkle blue
batiste and the empire waists
avere 'trimmed with blue flowers.
The "headpieces ware periwinkle
blue bows with blue flowers. They
carried bouquets of yellow roses,

Following the service the re-
ception• was,' held at St. Pauls
Anglican Church, Hensall.
'For their honeymoon, the
bride travelled in a navy and
white'Nerepe dress over which
she wore a tweed coat with cor-
sage-of red carnations.
The young, couple will re-
side in' Hensall.
Out of town guests were from
Ingersoll, London, St. Marys,.
Gorrie, Clinton, Exeter and
Hensel'.

Following the ceremony
a reception was held at the home
of the bride's parents where
her mother received the guests
wearing a' dress of dawn pink
de-lustred satin. with matching
vest coat and wore a corsage
of ' hot pink baby moans. The
groom's mother wore a green
crimpolene ensemble with a pink
rose corsage.
The bride's table was dec-
orated with blue and white mums,
blue candles •and centred with
a three tiered white cake trim-
med with blue. A smorgasbord
dinner was served " at
midnight,
For a wedding trip to Niagara
Falls, the bride travelled in a
yellow and white lace hot pants
ensemble and a corsage of

The couple will 'reside on
the groom's farm at R.R. 4,
'Walton.
Following rehearsal on
Wednesday evening, May 12th,
the groom's parents entertained
the bridal party at their home.

The, yoke of sculptured Venice
lace, set off the bodice front,
back arid top of sleeves. Small
bows trimmed her Empire waist,
ending in a long chapel train.
The matching lace Juliet cap
styled headpiece, held the Cathe-
dral length drift of her nylon
illusion yell, which was edged
with lace to compliment her
gown. She carried yellow roses
and tiny daisies.
MiSs Dianne Holighton, Strat-
ford, was maid of honour. Mrs.
Bob (Linda) Marriott, Stratford
and Mrs. Bill (Betty) Houghton,
Stratford were bridesmaids.

They all wore floor-lengthgowns
of georgette, with large white
flowers scattered all over alilac
background, styled In A-Line
Empire sheaths and featured
sleeves gathered at the wrist
with matching double ruffle. The
same gathering held their bodices
under the cuffed collars. Self
cumberbunds ended in a large
double bow at back setting off
the gathered overskirts. They
held matching parasols in the
same white 'and lilac material
as their gowns and, wore• white
daisies in their hair.
' Mr. Dennis Hodgert, Seaforth,
was the groomsman. The guests
were ushered by Mr. Bob
Marriott, Stratford and Mr. Bill
Ryan, Se-06-rth.
The bride's mother wore an
ensemble of pink nylon and lace,
pink and white accessories and
a corsage of baby pink roses.
The bridegroom's mother Was
dressed in an aqua English
crimpoline matching dress and
coat ensemble, white accessories
and corsage f deep red roses.
The wedding dinner was held
in the Church banquet hall,
Stratford, and Mr. Gordonllough-
fon of London (bride's uncle)
was the master of ceremonies.
The reception and wedding
dance was held in the evening
at the MernOrial Hall in Tavis- . took. 11

shasta daisies.

Wayne Cook, Brampton, as best
man and Ken Stoll, brother of
the bride, and Gord Fisher,
brother of the groom. as ushers.
A reception and dance was
held in the Saltford Valley
Hail. " The bride's mother greeted
the guests wearing a turquoise
lace coat dress assisted by the
groom'samother 'in a yellow lace
pant suit. • '
The couple will reside at
R.R.#5, Goderich.

Sarnia, Woodstock, Brampton,
Aylmer, Goderich and Exeter.
For the wedding trip to the
United States the bride travelled
in a pink lace pant suit.
Prior to her wedding, the
bride was honoured at showers
given by Mrs, Andy Smith-, Mrs.
Wayne Doak, 13rucefield U.C.W.,
hostesses. Mrs. Bert Walters and
Mr's. Robert McLachlan, and the
Bank of Commerce Staff of which
the bride is a member.

Northern' Ontario, the bride

outfit, white accessories and cor-
sage of white carnation.

place in St. JameS'Chureh, Sea-
forth, on May 29th, 1971. The
ceremony was performed by Rev.
John F. McConnell, uncle of the
bride. •
The, bride, given in marriage'
by her brother, John McConnell
of Seaforth, chose: a beautiful
white sheer Norganza gown with
high neckline trimmed with fine
Venice lace and full sleeves with
cuffs of lace. The bodice was
loosely trimmed with streamers
of lace. The built-in chapel train'
had streamers of satin ribbon.
To complete her ensemble the
bride chose a lace Juliet cap
with a beautiful chapel length
illusion veil. She carried her
mother's prayer book.
The matron of honor was
Ann Thibault of Sarnia,and Patti
Etue, Seaforth, was the brides- ,
maid., They wore beautiful yellow
and orange floral gowns with
high . neckline • and bouffant
sleeves. They carried posies
of yellow shasta daisies.
Michael Lane, brother of the
groom, R:R.#5, Seaforth, was
the groomsman and the. guests
were ushered by Philip Weber,
Groton, Connecticut Naval Base,
Tom Lane, brother of the groom,
R.R.#5, Seaforth and Gary Bray,
Ridgetown. •
The organist, Alice Stiles,
played “Ave Maria", “Se...mp-
where My Love"' and "Glory
to the •Father".
The reception was held at
the Seaforth Golf and Country
Club.
For the honeymoon, the bride
-chose a two-piece cream pant
suit with matching rust coloured
accessories.
