The May fun night meeting
of 'the Tuckersmith Group 1,
U.C.W. Brucefield congregation
was held at the home 'of Mrs.
Ross Chapman when the devot-
tfonal was taken by Mrs.. Geo.
, Henderson. •
In the absence of Mrs. Mac
Wilson., Mrs. E. D. Stuart took
her part 'of the' devotiOn and
opened the meeting by reading
from the "Bible, 31 10-'
31 followed by prayer and a
poem "Roses". Meditation
",God Cares for us" and another
poem "To Smile".
'The offering was received by
Mrs. Jno. Henderson and ded-
icated by Mrs.Stuart.
Mrs. Geo. Henderson con-
ducted the fun program with sev-
eral 'contests and songs. The roll
call ',Woman in the News" was
answered by W mem tiers. The
secretary and treasurer reports
were given by, Mrs. E. Sillery
and Mrs. Berry.
Mrs. A. PatersOn chaired the
btisiness part .of the meeting. The
Rummage Sale slated for May
15th has been postponed until
May 29.

swag lamp , t he occasion being
their 35th wedding anniversary.

News of Huronview
A special tribute was giuen to Mothers and
Grandmothers at the residents' program of old
time music and sing-a-long on Monday afternoon.
The special Mothers' day program included poems
by Miss Aylesworth, Mrs. Gray and a readihg,
"He Found A Mother" written by a resident, Mr.
David Barker. The music included several num-
bers by the orchestra, a solo by John Leeming,
a sing-a-long from the new books, sing hour; led
by John Leeming and Jan Bylsma.
The Worn en's Auxiliary to Huronview had a very
successful blossom tea last Wednesday afternoon
under the direction of the president, Mrs. Wilfred
Colclough. Tea was served in the auditorium with
the sale of 'crafts held in the craft room.
The Junior Choir of Wesley Willis United Church
presented their operetta '•Round Up on the Moon"
on Thursday (Family Night). The residents en-
joyed and appreciated the acting, singing and dances
of the. group directed by Mrs. Mary Hearn. Miss
Bertha Diehl thanked the group on behalf of •the
residents.
The Christian Womens Fellowship Group from
the Exeter area held a service of song Sunday
evening in the auditorium. Mrs. Luther of Hensall
led the singing of familiar hynns and also led, the
• group of twenty ladies in several numbers. Mrs.
Shlith of Huron Park. accompanied on the piano and,
sang a solo, with meditations by Rev. and Mrs.
