Mr. and Mrs. Young ma,ved to Blyth in 1956 when he was employed as manager of the Blyth Municipal Telephone System, When the system was joined with Brussels in 1967, he became manager of the newly formed Maitland Teleservices and has acted in that capacity since that time. Berl Telephone gained con- trol of the company in 1969 and Mr. Young was retained as local manager. He moves to Kitchener as an engineering associate and will work in the Kitchener Branch office. While a resident of Blyth, he took a keen interest in the events of the village. He represented Blyth on the Clinton 'District Collegiate Institute Board and was a member of the Blyth Public School Board. He is pres- ently a member of Blyth Mun- icipal Council. He joined the Blyth Fire Department and was captain until resigning from the brigade upon re- ceiving the Kitchener appoint- Classified Ads pay dividends. All recited the Pur- pose and Motto and sang the theme hymn. The Scripture les- son was read by Miss Sylvia Wilson, prayer by Miss Cathy Taylor, minutes were read by Miss Sylvia Wilson and the roll call was answered by naming a Spring bird. Mr. Jeff Chuter took up the offering and was dedicated by Miss Anne Marie Heard, the treasurer report was given by Miss Tanis Chuter and the . Study Book was led by Mrs. Barry Taylor. Recreation was in charge of Mrs . Eric Chuter. One visitor was present. Miss Cathy Taylor closed the meeting. Smiles . . .
