KENNETH FEENEY
Kenneth Feeney, 30, of
Kitchener, died in Hospital there
on Tuesday after a short illness.
He was born and raised• in
Dublin, the son of Mrs. Matthew
Murray, Dublin and the late Frank
Feeney. He moved to Kitchener
ten years ago where he was a
member of St. Daniels Roman
Catholic Church inKitchener. He
was _,,a third degree member of
the Knights of Columbus.
He is survived by his mother; tit
his wife, the former Patsy Ryan;
four children, two boys, Mark and
Gregory and two girls, Marlene
and Marylisa, all at home; five
brothers and sisters, Mrs. Theo.

Construction Co., Goderich to
supply, crush and deliVer approx-
imately 14,000 cubic yds. of
gravel on township roads at $1.25

stock pile at township shed at
Staffa at $1.10 per cubic yd.
with gravel delivered to farmer's
lanes at $1.25 per cubic yd.
Fred Harburn was employed
to do warble fly spraying with
Wilfred Feeney as inspector and
Wm/ Harburn, assistant ins-
pector.
Fred Harburn will also do
the weed spraying on the road

Logan Council
Logan Council meetirg on
Monday moved to provide im-
proved street lighting in Brod-
hagen. A petition having been
signed by the majority of the
residents of the village of Brod-
hagen, requesting improved
street lighting, the Clerk was
instructed to contact the Ontario
Hydro to bring in a plan and an
estimate of cost.
W. C. Hoegy representing
Hoegy Farm Supplies Ltd. was
present, and agreed to spray the
cattle in Logan at the same rate
as in 19'70, that is, .10 1/4
per head per spray.
A grant of $25.00 was given
.the Royal Canadian Legion, Mit-
chell, to assist in the Public
Speaking. Contest.
Ratepayers on Schade Street
in Monkton are to be billed for
their share of the cost of• the
storm sewer, with April 15th
being the last date for accept-
ing cash payments. After that
date, council agreed debentures
will be issued for the unpaid
balance.
The Clerk reported that the
1971 Snow Removal in the Town-
ship to date had cost $19,508.25
Due •to road estimates having
to be in to the, Department of
Highways by March 31, 'and at
this time no estimate of snow
plowing could be given, it was
decided to hold the next regular
Council meeting on Monday,
March 29, rather than hold a
spedial meeting.
Road accounts ' totaling
$13,786.67 and General Accounts
amounting to $3,718.43 were ord-
ered paid.

Role of Women". Mrs. G. Carey
conducted a quiz and., led the
business discussion. Lunch was
served and the remainder of the
afternoon was spent quilting.

Howl at the Cub meeting on Tues-
