the old Benmiller Bridge. These
approaches will revert to the
Township of Colborne.

in '1970 to $171,405 this year.
The province contributes a
fixed $70,900 to the budget; Huron
County ratepayers make Up
$93,705; schools will contribute,
,$4,000; will realize
another $2,400; and mixcellan-
eous accounts for $400.
Circulation is up but the
budget for purchasing books
remains ..'unchanged. The
committee will spend $65,000 for
this purpose,
Rental fees for all the county
library buildings were discussed
and adjusted with Goderich and
Wingham getting more; Exeter
getting less; and Brussels, Sea-.
forth and Clinton remaining the
same.

bridges under the provision of
the Highway Improvement Act
were set at $1,494,000 for 1971
at the February session of Huron
County Council in Goderich,
County funds will amount to
$730,000. Last year Huron County
raised' $726,000 locally but ac-
cording to engineer Jim Britnell,
less money will be required in

Meeting to discuss snowplowing
in their area of th'e township.

ton Water Tanker Committee

ing on March 8 in Clinton.

to attend the C.S. Anderson
School for road superintendehts
in Guelph -from May 9 to May
12. This school is sponsored'
by the Good Roads Association.
' Clerk McIntosh reported the
December balance of the road
subsidy for 1970 'had been re-
ceived for $13,427.60. Total for
1970 amounted to $52,116.
Permission was given to Ont-
ario Hydro to build a 44 K.V.
line from Brucefield viaHighway
4 and sideroad 45 and 26 to a r y
junction of an existing line on
Lot 3, Concession 7'. Work is
to be completed by September,
1972.
