The Hon. Bert Lawrence, minister of financial and commercial
affairs, and Mrs. Lawrence, were in Goderich on Saturday as
part of the provincial cabinet minister's campaign for the
leadership of the Ontario Progressive Conservative Party. Mr.
Lawrence and his party arrived by aircraft for a luncheon at the

The Session of First Presbyterian Church has presented awards for long time service to
the Church Sunday School to Miss Jean Scott and Malcolm McKellar. Miss Scott received her
award for 48 years of service as a•Sunday'SchOol 'teacher while Mr. McKellar served for 35
years as Church School Superintendent. Each received a Bible and a certificate. In addition,
plaques were hung in the Chu'r'ch Hall in recognition of their service. Shown above as the

A suggestion has been made
to have the Seaforth Legion and
Seaforth 'Firemen meet on the
ice in a hockey game; the pro-
ceeds frbm which would go to
the Muscular Dystrophy Fund.
We will be looking forward to
hearing about firm plans for such
an event.
Next Thursday eyening

Legion Hall. A very capable
installation team from Branch
