MITCHELL. We would like to thank
the many people who have
supported us over the last few
months. Thank you to the emergency
personnel for enabling miracles. The
skills and efforts of the first
responders and the medical staff at
Seaforth Community Hospital,
ambulance and ORNGE personnel
and the staff at Children’s Hospital
at London Health Sciences Centre
were lifesaving. Thanks to the staff
in the PCCU and on the sixth floor
who cared for Sarah, Sean and
Giuliana, to everyone at Ronald
McDonald House in London, and
the staff at Holland Bloorview Kids
Rehabilitation Hospital in Toronto
who have helped Sarah so much. To
all of our friends and neighbours:
thank you for your visits, prayers,
well wishes, messages, baking and
gifts following the kids’ accident.
We truly appreciate everyone’s
thoughtfulness and generosity. Our
church communities and service
clubs have also been of great
support. Thank you to Knox
Presbyterian, Cranbrook, Camp
Kintail and Duff's United for their
support and visits. Special mention
to the members from Duff’s who
weeded the flowerbeds and also to
the group who cooked the Walton
roast beef dinner for all of the
families staying at Ronald
McDonald House. Grandma Phyllis
would have been so proud! Thank
you to the Walton and Brussels
communities for your generous
donations to Ronald McDonald
House in London. To Ava, Meg,
Nate: thanks for donating the
proceeds of your bake sale to RMH!
We would also like to thank the
Pipes, Newells, Bridges and
Machans (and all who helped) for
continuing the fundraising efforts
with their successful BBQ the
weekend of the ball tournament!
Ronald McDonald House is a truly
special place that has benefitted not
only us, but many families in our
area and we are so pleased that our
community has helped them further
their mission. Thank you to the
Brussels Lions Club for their
generosity to both our family and the
Sancinis. Thank you to the Seaforth
Optimists for their generous gift.
Thanks also goes out to the Brussels
Leo Club and the Brussels Optimists
for their concern and offers of help.
Thanks also to the staff at Huronlea
and our AMDSB school commun-
ities for their support for the whole
family. We are blessed to live in such
a fantastic community. – Love from
the Mitchell family. 45-1
