Client assets deserve nothing less. Management value is found in the above test and is not realized by merely searching out a lowest-cost management solution. Many financial institutions are constrained from accessing the broader market or are confined to the promotion of ‘low-cost solutions’. A conscientious client should always ask ‘why’ before accepting an investment recommendation. Value is always found in the final measure of performance. We’re here to help and only a call away. Sports Brewers drop first two games of HCFL season The beginning of the 2015 Huron County Fastball League has not been kind to the Walton Brewers. After losing the season opener in Fullarton on May 24, the Brewers were defeated by the Wroxeter Royals, 7-4, at the Walton Ball Park on May 26. The Royals put two runners across the plate in the top of the first inning, but the Brewers responded with three of their own in the bottom half. Wroxeter scored two runs in the top of the third and Walton scored one in their half of the inning to tie the game at four. The Royals took the lead by scoring two runs in the top of the fourth and then adding a single run in the fifth. The game was called after five innings due to heavy rain. Scott Cox hit a double for the Brewers and Barry Young rapped out a pair of singles. Also collecting single base hits were Darryl Houston, Shawn Bromley and Adam Verkley. Paul Dolmage started on the mound for the Brewers, with Scott McDonald taking over in relief. Dolmage said the Brewers are off to a tough start. “We’ll rebound,” he said. “The season is still young.” The Brewers are in the Mitchell Mets tournament this weekend. The next home game for the Brewers is Tuesday when they host the Brussels Tigers beginning at 8 p.m. at the Walton Ball Park. An uphill battle When it came time to face the Wroxeter Royals at the Walton Ball Park on May 26, the home- town Brewers were already facing difficulties in the season having lost their season-opener to Fullarton two days prior. Those challenges continued as the Royals bested the Brewers 7-4. Shown above is Walton Brewer Adam Verkley safely sliding into home plate as Royals catcher Kevin Hopf mishandled the throw that would have made for an out.
