RUTH JARDIN
Ruth Jardin of Knollcrest Lodge,
Milverton, passed away on Monday,
May 11, 2015. She was in her 99th
year.
The former Ruth Straughan was
the beloved wife of the late Thomas
Ashley Jardin, who predeceased her
in 2005. Ruth was the dear mother
of Donald and Dorothy Jardin, New
Hamburg; Lyman and Carol Jardin,
Port Alberni, British Columbia; Paul
and Crystal Jardin, Kitchener;
Bonnie and Mark Garner, Fullarton
and Harold and Nancy Jardin,
Belgrave. She was the cherished
grandmother of eight and great-
grandmother of 12. Ruth was prede-
ceased by her parents William and
Elva Straughan, and her sister Anne
(Clayton) Robertson. Ruth will be
fondly remembered by friends and
neighbours in the Wingham, Auburn,
Blyth and Belgrave areas.
In keeping with Ruth’s wishes,
there will be no visitation and cre-
mation has taken place.
A service to celebrate Ruth’s life
will take place at Knox United
Church, Auburn on Friday, May 29
at 11 a.m.
As expressions of sympathy
memorial donations to Knox United
Church, Auburn or to a charity of
one’s choice would be appreciated
by the family. Funeral arrangements
were entrusted to the Falconer

MARY GRACE WIGHTMAN
Mary Grace (nee McCully)
Wightman passed away peacefully
at Huronview Home for the Aged on
Wednesday, May 6.
She was the loving wife of the late
Ivan Wightman (2012), Brucefield
and formerly RR 1, Belgrave for 64
years. She was predeceased by John
(2013) and Jim (2003) Brigham and
her brother James (Nellie) McCully.
Mary is survived by John’s wife,
Shelly Brigham, Corunna and Jim’s
children, Jennifer, Mary, Kendra and
Gordon Brigham, Blyth and her sis-
ter-in-law Alberta (Vaughn)
Munro.
Mary will be fondly remembered
by her many nieces, nephews and
cousins. Mary was a dedicated mem-
ber of the Women’s Institute for over
60 years and devoted member of
Brucefield Community United
Church for well over 30 years.
Friends were received at Falconer
Funeral Homes, Clinton Chapel on
Sunday, May 10. The funeral service
was held at Brucefield Community
United Church on Monday, May 11
at 2 p.m. Mr. Colin Snyder officiated
with interment at Baird’s Cemetery
to follow.

DARRELL JAMES HERBERT
PLETCH
Darrell Pletch passed away at his
residence in Mount Pleasant on
Tuesday, May 12, 2015. He was 41.
Darrell was the beloved son of
Keith and Bonnie Pletch, RR 3,
Teeswater, the loving companion of
Leanne Hall, Mount Pleasant and the
dear father of Brendan, Alanah,
Julia, Talia, Hunter and Brooke. He
was the dearly loved brother of
Kerry Ann and Paul Young, Paris;
Jeff and Julaine Pletch, Fergus and
Ryan and Amy Pletch, Kincardine.
He will always be remembered by
his nieces and nephews.
Darrell was a well respected main-
tenance manager at Aryzta in
Brantford for 10 years. He loved
boating, camping, fishing and hunt-
ing, as well as spending time with
his family.
Visitation was held at McBurney
Funeral Home, Wingham on Friday,
May 15. A private funeral service
will be held at McBurney Funeral
Home Chapel. Darrell’s final resting
place is in Brandon Cemetery,
Belgrave.
Memorial donations to a trust fund
for Darrell’s children would be
appreciated as expressions of sym-
pathy.

RAY BIESINGER
Ray Alexander Biesinger of
RR 1, Londesborough passed away
peacefully at his home, surrounded
by his family on Saturday, May 16,
2015. He was in his 60th year.
Ray was the beloved husband of
Brenda (nee Kumm) for 38 years.
the loving father of Aliecia
Biesinger, Theodore “Ted”
Biesinger (Amber Alexander),
Uneetta Biesinger (Mark
Thitchener) and Len Biesinger and
the cherished Papa Bear of Jasmine,
Ashley, Lori, Layne, Bryce and
Clayton. He is also survived by his
mother, Uneetta Biesinger, brothers
Daniel Poulin (Trish Knudsen),
Wayne Biesinger and by many
nieces, nephews and friends.
Ray was predeceased by his dad
Alexander Biesinger, sister Brenda
Mason and his brother Earl
Biesinger.
Cremation has taken place. There
will be no formal visitation or funer-
al service. Arrangements are entrust-
ed to McGlynn Family Funeral
Home, Seaforth.

GEORGE JUTZI
George Jutzi of Brussels, passed
away on Sunday, May 10, 2015 at
Seaforth Community Hospital. Born
in Waterloo County on Aug. 15,
1928, George was in his 87th year.
George was the beloved husband
of Grace (Hudson) and will be sadly
missed by his sons Gerald and Julie,
Brussels; Jamie and Lyn, RR 2,
Bluevale and Neil, RR 1, Wroxeter.
He was the loving grandfather of
Kendall and Andrew, Travis, Tyler
and Nicole, Christopher, and Ryan
and Laura. He will also be missed by
brothers Roy Jutzi and Jacob (Grace)
Jutzi, sisters Laura Rathbone, Sarah
Maloney, Mary Roth, Marjgaret
Jutzi, Mildred (Ralph) Brennerman
and Martha (Donald) Ropp. George
was predeceased by his grandson
Craig, parents Amos and Lydia, his
brother Amos and sister Clara.
Before moving to Brussels,
George worked in construction and
trucking. He started his own trucking
company, Brussels Transport, which
at present operates as Brussels
Trucking Ltd. and is now run by his
sons.
George was cremated and his
remains were interred in Brussels
Cemetery on Saturday morning. The
family then proceeded to Brussels
United Church on May 16 to cele-
brate George’s life. Pastor Sandra
Cable officiated. Remembrances of
George were given by his son Jamie
and grandchildren Kendall and
Tyler.
As an expression of sympathy,

Hospital Foundation would be
