The youth also received the Banton Ltd. award for highest score in 4-H sheep clubs. Stephen Andrew of R.R.'7, Lucknow, was presented with C.S.MacNaughton trophy for the highest score in the county, 943 points. out of a possible 1,000. He also received the HUron.Soil and Crop Improvement Association award for outstanding achievement in 4-H grain corn clubs. Irene Konarskl of R.R.1, B1yth, won the warden's novice trophy for the-highest 4-H score in the first year. It was presented by Warden James Hayter of Dashwood. • Garry Howes, extension assistant, Ontario Department of Agriculture, reported that of ap- proximately 400 projects undertaken by county 4-H clubs there was a 95 per cent completion by members. Other award winners were: • Marlene Stewart, R.R. 1, Kirkton, J. A. Anstett award, 4-h beef clubs and Stewart Proc- tor award, champion shorthorn steer. Glen McNeil, R.R.6, Goderich, Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce award, 4-H Dairy Clubs. Neil Hemingway, R.R. 3, Brussels, Marvin Howe Trophy, swine clubs. Jim Bennett, R.R.1, Port Albert, Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce award., Champion gilt. Joanne Hickey, R.R. 3, Auburn, Bank of Montreal award, highest scoring first year member of swine club. Gerald Townsend, FLR, 5, Seaforth, Toronto Dominion Bank award, best all-round showman and Huron Hog Producers' Association award, champion 4-H showman; Bryan Black, R.R.1, Belgrave, Victoria and Grey, Trust Company trophy, top beef show- man, and Huron Hereford Association award, highest score excluding the score on a Hereford calf.
