It was a wet and muddy day at the SDHS sports field on Monday when Seaforth hosted Mitchell in the final game of the 1969 soccer schedule • Seaforth tied

The Warriors with a tremen-
dous '3139 total for three took
top honors last week. Oliver
Pryce led the Warriors to vic-

360 and a 277. The Magpies'

game total of 2549 took fourth
spot. Fifth spot went to Tiger
Cats, 2493 with Nelson McClure
rolling a triple of 587. On the
bottom rung were the Alley
Cats with 2290 for three games.
Ed. Wammes led the way for
his team with a 482 triple.
MIXED LEAGUE
The Lions led by Eric Matz-
old and Betty Smith with trip-
les of 743 and 713 took top
honors in this ],gigue last Wed-
nesday. Art and Jack, 673 and
601 triples, made it a close
second for the Cheetahs with a
total of 2865. The Tigers with
Karen Chesney' and Bill Brown
leading the way with 608 and
601 triples to gain third high

Next in line were the Leo-
pards with a 2699 total. Vern
Scott and Jack Pryce had trip-

muddy on Monday, the gallant
members of the boys soccer
team played an outstanding
game against the Mitchell team
ending in a 1-1 tie. Our point
was scored by Brad Finlayson
in -the last half of the game.

SMALLPDX VACCINATIONS
An. Archery Tournament, the
first here in recent years, was I
held on Wednesday. It was an
"experiment to generate intetest
for future years", As such, it was
successful, although the cold and
wind deterred spectators. The
contestants too, were affected by

that the scores were lower than
they might have been, The top

CHESS CLUB
This year, the Chess Club is
again under the guidance of Mr.
