M. Scott also attended. Donations were made to the Muscular Dystrophy Association, the. Navy League of Canada (Women's Division) and to the Pioneer Memorial Mausoleum Fund. The latter was in lieu of flowers for the late George Robb, father of Mrs. Keith Sharp. A joint social evening is , planned with members of,Fidel- ity Lodge, I. 0. 0. F. on Novem- ber 7. Council approved an applic- ation to the Department of High- ways for interim subsidy on road expenditure of 577,886.55 and agreed to purchase two Remem- brance Day wreaths for the Exeter and Central School memorials. Council instructed that the Department of Highways be ad- vised that the condition of High- way No, 4 Reconstruction haul road was not yet satisfactory.
