Brides Choose September Weddings

the guests were ushered by Mick
Jenner, Toronto and Wayne Rau,
Seaforth,
Mrs, Peg, Coombs was the
guest soloist.
The reception was held at
the Seaforth Curling Club.
For. a wedding trip co Wasaga
the bride donned a white two-
piece suit, navy blouse with
matching accessories.
The couple will reside in
England.

Horan, cousin of the bride, were
the flower girls. They were
dressed alike in floor-length
gowns of orchid polyester crepe,
empire waisted with heavyelaee
inserts from which a floor-
' length train fell. Their head-
dresses consisted of a cluster of
mauve flowers' nestled in veil,
They carried white shasta dais-
ies surrounded by mauve ribbon
and net,
Allan Wilbee, brother of the
groom,. Seaforth was the hest
man and the guests were ushered
by Ray Taylor, Stratford and
Warren Beuerman, brother of
the bride, R. R. i1, Dublin,
The organist, Mrs. J. Stewart,
played riaditional wedding
music and accompanied the
soloist, Mrs. Betty Koehler,
when she sang "I'll Walk Beside
You" and "0 Perfect Love",
For the supper and reception
at the Brodhagen Commubity
Centre, the bride's m o t h.e r,
received the guests wearing
a hunter green wool dress and
jacket trimmed in white, gold
accessories -and a corsage of
white carnatiOns. She was assist-
ed by the _groom's mother in a

matching accessories and a
corsage of white carnations,
For the wedding trip to Nia-
gara Falls and New York State
the bride donned a crimp-knit
winter white and brown
jacquard patterned matching
coat and dress accented by
antique brown accessories and
a corsage of pink carnatiOns.
Guest were' present from
Sarnia, 'St. Catharines, Ailsa
aaig, Mitchell, Kippen, Brus-
sels, Sault Ste Marie, Walton,
Rexdale, Goderich, Kitchener,
and surrounding district.
The couple will reside at 157

The bride's gown of white .
peau de soie featUred a sabrina
neckline, lily point sleeves and
an unpile bodice trimmed with
chantilly lace. A removable
Cathedral train fell from a soft
bow at the back waistline, A
tiara of cut crystal held her
shoulder-length veil and she
carried a bouquet of white
daisies,
Mrs, Micky Hamilton, Strat-
ford, sister of the bride, was`the
'maid of honour and the brides-
maids were Mrs, Marg, Dale,.
Seaforth, Mrs, Gail Matthews,
Seaforth and Miss Patty Hender-
son, Mitchell. The maid of hon-
our and one bridesmaid were in
floor-length blue gowns and two
bridesinaids were in floor-length
yellow gowns, all with bouquets
of one large mum and daisies
around them.
Mrs. Alice Stiles, Seaforth,
was organist and the soloist was
Mrs. Mel Aitcheson, Seaford},
The reception and supper
were held in the Seaforth Arena,
For a wedding trip to the
United States the bride wore a
one-piece dress in floral colors
of yellow and blue with a cor-
sage of white daisies.
gowned in a floor-length mint
green fitted gown of taffeta with
chiffon overlay fashioned with
•a fitted bodice and wedding band
neckline trimmed with lace and
two lace parcels cascading down
the front of the semi-fitted gown.
Her floral headpiece caught up
by a tiny veil matched the gown.
Bridesmaids Misses Mary and
Marlene Oesch, sisters of the
bride; were gowned alike in
mauve. They all carried cres-
cent bouq'uets of white gladioli
with tulle matching their gowns.
Mr. Gordon Pringle, Seaforth
was best man, and Mi Stets Pat •
Heenan and David Judge ushered
the guests.
A wedding reception was held
in the Dashwood Community
centre.
The bride's mother received
guests in a turquoise dress with
beaded motif,. white accessor-
ies and a corsage of pink car-
nations, The groom's mother
chose a pastel chiffon dress with
white accessories and a corsage
of orange carnations.
For a honeymoon to the WeSt
Coast, the bride cloned a poWder
blue linen dress with lace overlay
and inverted pleats in front and'
back, navy accessories and a
corsage of yellow roses.
On their return the couple
will reside in Stratford,

Church, Zurich, decorated with
baskets of white and mauve
gladioli, was the setting of
pretty wedding on Saturday,
August 30, 1969 at 1:00 p, -n. ,
when Doris Ann Oesch and Cor-
don Leo Maloney exchanged
marriage vows:
The bride is the daughter of
Mr, and Mrs. Russell Pesch, R.
R, 111', Varna, and the groom is
the son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank
Maloney,L. Seaforth.
Rev, Father A. Durand of-
ficiated for the double-ring cer-
emony, Wedding music was sup-
plied by organist, Mrs,. Patricia
Meidinger, and soloist Miss El-
aine Westlake.
Given in marriage by her
father, the bride-looked stun-
ning in her floor-length wedd-
ing gown of white lagoda and
delicate French chantilly lace.
The bodice was highlighted by
a bateau neckline touched with
a tiny bow, and made way for
an elegant sheath gown. The
chantilly lace formed an open
coat effect cascading from the
neckline, while an extra full-
ness at the back, of the lagoda,
fell to the floor. Her floral rose
headpiece of seed pearls and
rhinestones held her three tier
scalloped French illusion veil.
She carried a crescent bouquet
of white 'gladioli, centred with
a mauve orchid and trailing ivy.
