B. , Clinton, demonstrated the arranging of autumn bouquet,s using weeds, dried flowers and artificial flowers and fruits. Mrs. Ryan told how to prepare and us e various dips and sprays. Autumn' weeds, such as teasel, became a chine of beauty when dipped in a tempra paint solution and arranged on styrofoam bases in suitable containers, such as straw type or crockery. Any summer flowers can be preserv- ed in a beach sand and soda mixture drying solution. Plastic flowers and fruits ta- ke on a beautiful hue when dipped in a flemish dip or cor- nish dip. Mrs. Ryan gave the recipes for the dips and also touched briefly on the making of candles and Christmas decor- ations. Mrs. Ryan was introduced by Mrs. Haugh and thanked by e Seaforth W.I.
