ed in a sea-green silk shantung
dress and coat ensemble. Brow,(

hat-of brown and matching green
completed her ensemble. She
wore a: corsage of pink sweet-

married ,to Mr. Eric E'vlyn Ross,
Waterloo, son of Mr.- and Mrs.
Alfred Ross Sr. , R. R. Staffa,
in a double-ring ceremony per-
formed by .Rev. Harold Currie
on August 23rd in Caven United
Church, Winthrop. The church
was decorated with pink glad-
foli and white starhurst mums
amid a setting of candelabra.

The bride, given in marriage
by her father, 'wore an elegant
floor length gown of white peau
de sole. The skiminer gown was
given the '.:Victorian" look with
a stand-up collar of Swiss gui-
pure lace and seed pearls which
draped Into a sunburst pattern
on the bodice. This same delic-
ate lace and pearl pattern
trimmed the. wrist- length sle-
eves and ran gracefully .down
the hack into the chapel-length
train, To complete the bridal
• outfit, the bride wore a shoulder
:-length silk-illUsion veil caught
up by a floral headpiece made
of the same Swiss lace adorned
with seed pearls and tiny cr)stals.

Mrs. Maurice Wathke, Kit-
chener, sister of the bride, was
the Matron of honor and the
bridesmaids were Miss Jud) Ash-
ton, St. Thomas, Miss Barbara

both of Seaforth. Cheryl Harvey
- of Exeter was the flower girl.
They were dressed alike wear-
ing skimmer floor-length gowns
'"of rose pink crepe with a stand-
up collar and elbow-length sle-
eves, A deep pink peali de sole
belt began at the front of the
bodice and continued to • the
hack where it was highlighted'
with a large how. The fullness
of the, back began below the'
bow and draped in soft folds.
To complete their outfits, pink
sweetheart roses decorated their
hair and they carried nosegays
of white niurns and matching
pink sweetheart roses with white
satin streartien-.
Alfred Ross, :r. , R. R. 62, Star-
fa, brother of the groom was the
best man and the guests were
ushered by Ronald Christie, R. R.
#2, Staffa, Dcinald McNichol,
Brantford and Maurice Wathke,
Kitchener. Bradley CaMpbell,
R. R. 41; Dublin wa's the ring
bearer.
Mrs, Bruce Whitmore, St.
Catharine's, orgaelist, accomp-
anied the soloist Miss Mary lane
Smoothie when she sang " The
Wedding Prayer" and "The Lord's
Prayer" during the receiving of
Communion, " 0 Perfect Love"
was sung by the congregation
when the register was being
signed.
The reception was held in
the church parlour where the

This 40-week. course Is open to men and wo—
men who desire an artistic, varied and chal-
lenging career.
Graduates may obtain positions os salesman'
Designer' with furniture, paint and wallpaper
retail firms, or as technical and design drafts-
men In the furniture industry.
You will be trained In the basics of Design,
Drafting, Decorating, Upholstery, Woodwork-
ing and Finishing, Selling, etc.

tries, especially in Southwestern Ontario, offer

HOW TO EGISTER AT A.E.C.
1. Select program which suits you best
A—Provincial Program:
You must have been out of school for at least one year. If you apply, 'qualify, and are accepted.
you will attend school full time probably during the days, and your tuition will not 111Xtelid ;15.00
per month.
B—Extension Program:
Many of these, courses ore offered to part-time students. You may be able to upgrade yourself
by attending one or two 'nights per week. Select your subject, and check with our counsellor to
see if the course you want is being taught on the nights you want to attend. Fees are usually
$2.00 per weak per tabled.
C-The O.T.A. Program:
The Occupational Training Act for Adults provides training and a subsistence allowance for
adults who qualify through their Canada Manpower Centre Counsellor. Select the course of your
choice, and arrange a vial with your C.M.C. Counsellor to find out if you can qualify to be paid
while refraining.
D—The In-Industry Programs:
If you own, manage, or work for a local company, then In•Industry Training might meet you
needs. Workers con be retrained or upgraded right on your premises_ Costs are shared by tin
Government, the CoMpany, and the worker. Ask our Industrial Training Department to disco
your needs, and to tailor a program of education to your academic or skill requirements.
