Trinity United Church was
the setting for a pretty wedding
on July 25th at 3:00 p.m. when
Susan Deborah daughter of Mr.
and Mrs. Charles Heard, Acton
became the bride of Lawrence
George Rock Wheatley, Dublin
son, of Mrs. George Wheatley
and the late Mr. Wheatley of
Dublin. Rev. Gordon B. Turner
officiated at the double ring
ceremony.
The bride was given in mar-
riage by her father and was

honor. She was attired in a sea
green dress of hammered satin •
on the same design as the brides.
She also had a lace coat to ma-
tch with satin piping Found the
hem of the dress and the sleeves
and scalloped up' the front. She
carried a basket of tangerine
carnations. Her headpiece was
of sea green lace roses in a
coronet.
The groomsman was Mr.
Kenneth R. Campbell of R. R.1
Dublin arid the ushers were Mr.
Mac Bolton, Perth and Mr . Jim
Graham, Acton. They wore an
ivory rosebud in the lapels of
their directors suits.
Wedding music was played
by a. deorge Elliott and Mrs.
Robert McKercher of R. R. 1,
Dublin was the soloist. She sang
"The Lord's Prayer" during the
signing of the register.
The mother of the bride rece-
ived guests wearing a mauve
silk ensemble, a sleeveless dress
with beadding on the bodice and
a jacket with bracelet length
sleeves. SI e wore a purple
orchid corsage. Mother of the
groom wore a beige and gold
raw silk ensemble with coordin-
ated accessories of beige.. She
wore a gold orchid corsage.
The reception was a garden
party,at the bride's home imm-
ediately following the ceremony
and guests were present from
Owen Sound, Perth, St. Marys,
Toronto, ,Kitchener and the
Seaforth area.
They left on a wedding trip
around Lake Ontario and will
reside at R. R. 1, Dublin on
their return,
