Captain and Mrs. John Beer and family of Winnipeg are at present visiting with Mr. and Mrs. Emerson Mitchell. About twenty ladies from the -Walton Women's Institute atten- ded a W. I. meeting in the Lond- esboro Community Hall last Thursday evening sponsored by the Historical Society. Mr. and Mrs. Clemens Stutz of Waterloo were Sunday guests at the home of Mr, and Mrs, Torrance Dundas. Mr, and Mrs. Airie Peters have returned home from a two week trip to Holland where they attended a w edding. Mrs. Douglas Ennis has retur- ned home after spending a week with relatives in Toronto and Whitby and attended the Mooney- Zoeger wedding at Niagara-on- the- hake. Miss Wenda Humphries under- went a tonsillectomy in Clinton Public Hospqa5 recently, Mr. and Mrs, Mac Sholdice and Murray spent a few days last week on a motor trip to Toberm- ory, Manitoulin Island, Sudbury and visited Santa's Village at Bracebridge.
