The July meeting of the
Buns' U. C. W. was held at the
home of Mrs. Jim McEwing on
Wednesday evening with 16 mem-
bers and one visitor present. Mrs.
Trewin opened the meeting with
a reading "Kind Words". Kath-
leen McEwing gave a piano inst-
rumental, The study book on
Japan was given ny MrS. Te'ew it
Mrs. Ed Bell conducted the
business session. The treasurer"s
report was given by Miss Jean
Leiper., Thank-you notes were
received from the IvIcVittie fam-
ily, Leiper family and the Murray
family . Plans were made for a
bazaar in October. Mrs. Bell
closed with a prayer.

eon for three weeks.
Mr. Norman MacLean arrived
home from Scotland where he
joined his son Bill and Jack
Durst. They spent their time
fishing and visiting relatives
whom Mr. MacLean had not
seen for many years.

of Sarnia are visiting their
daughter and son-in-law Mr.
and Mrs. Charels Geddes and
family
Mr. and Mrs. Charles Geddes
and family itravelled to the East
Coast and spent a week with Mr.

family, then returned through
the Eastern States, Ottawa and
Quebec.
