S. 0. 1960 Chapter 249, Sec- tion 475. (4) provides that the Councils of local municipalities may pass by-laws among other things, for prohibiting one throwing, placing or depositing of dirt, filth, glass, handbills, paper or other rubbish or refuse or the carcass of any animal on any highway or bridge. AND WHEREAS it is deemed advisable to enact a By-Law in the Township of Mc1Cillop , to prohibit such acts. THEREFORE the Council of the Corporation of the Township of MeEillop enacts as follows: • (1) In this by-law Highway shall include any highway and any public bridge and any ,lane, road, footway, square, court, alley or passage whether a thoroughfare or not. (2), No. person shall throw, place or deposit dirt,' filth, glass, handbills, paper 'or other rub- bish, or refuse or any carcass of any animal on any highway or bridge within the limits of the Township of McKillop. (3) Every person who cont- ravens this by-law shall be guilty of any offence and on summary conviction shall be liable to a fine of not more than $300.00 exclusive of costs.
