their home Thuriday evening to
extend to them good wishes be-
fore leaving the 8th of McKil-
lop.
After playing progressive
euchre, Mrs. Mary Eckert read
an address and gifts were pre-
sented by Mr. and Mrs. Ron
Beuerman, Mr. and Mrs. Edgar
Elligson and Tom Eckert to
which the Dietz family replied.

marriage-of Darlene Jane Par-
sons, daughter of Mr. and Mrs.
Douglas Parkins, Exeter and Mr.
Ronald Allan Campbell, son of
Mr. arid Mrs. Allan Campbell,
R. R. #1, Seaforth, on Saturday,
June 28th at 5 o'clock. The
church was decorated with white
gardenias and , yellow mums.
The Rev. H. C. Wilson, Exeter,
officiated and the organist was
Mr. Robert Cameron, Hensall.
The bride, given in marriage
by het father, wore a floor-
length white peau-a-soie wed-
ding gown featuring a fitted
bodice, lace flower applique
around the bottom with elbow
length scalloped sleeves with a
falling cathedral-length train
and head veil. She, carried a
crescent of white and yellow'
mums with two orchids in the
centre.

The , bridal attendants were

Exeter. They were dressed in
floor-length .fine yellow linen
gowns trimmed with green and
yellow applique around the
collar and fitted, bodices .ac-
cented at the back with two'
narrow panels. Flowers were
crescents of white and yellow
daisies.
The,flower girl, Miss Sandra
Campbell (niece of the groom)
R.R. #1, Seaforth, wore a floor-
length green taffeta gown with
ruffles. and the collar, sle-
eves andThottom of gown. She
carried a 'basket of white 'and
yellow daisies.
Mr. Doug. Jeffery of Wind-
sor was the ,best man and the
ushers were Mt. • Jim Parsons
(brother of the bride) Exeter,
Ontario and Mr, Brian Campbell,
Seaforth, Ontario.
The reception was held in
the Exeter Legion Hall. The
bride and groom were ushered
to the Legion on a wagon pulled
by a tractor driven by the best
man.
For the wedding trip„. to Para-
dise Stream, Pennsylvania State
(Honeymoon Resort), the bride
travelled in a yellOw coat-dreis
outfit with yellow box hat,
black patent accessories and
corsage of yelloW and white
mu rhs.
The couple will reside at
290 Springbank Drive, LOndoh,
Ontario.
The bride is employed at
the Toronto- Dominion Bank,
London and the groom is em-
ployed by L. Walters, Trim
Contractor.

A very pretty-wedding was
solemnized in First Presby'ter'ian-'
Church, Seaforth on June 28th
at 3'. 30 p. m. when Roba Ruth
Doig, daughter of Mr. and Mrs.
Robert I. Doig, Seaforth. and
Murray Webster Lobb, son of
Mr. and Mrs. Mervin Lobb of
R.,12,..#2, Clinton, were united
in- marriage by Rev. R. U. Mac-
Lean.
The pride, given in marriage
by her father, chose a floor-,
length gown of imported sorento
embroidered with a yoke effect
of alecon lace and a wedding
band neckline. A matching
headpiece of , the same'fabric
held a floating French illusion
floor-length veil. She carried
a bouquet of red sweetheart ro-
ses.
Mrs. Jim ,Moore, sister of
the bride of Belmont was the
Maid of Honor and Miss Jeanette
Lobb, sister of the groom was
the Bridesmaid. The Flower
Girls-were Miss, parleen Dungey
and Miss Pamela Pepper, nieces
of the bride. They were dressed
alike in floor-length gownS of
green shantung. They carried
baskets of white shasta daisies
and wore embroidered daisies
in their hair.
Mr, Donald Lobb, R. R. # 2,
Clinton and Mr. Jim Moore,
Belmont and Mr. Hugh Lobb,
bride wore., a 'rose:, Swiss lin
dresS and: Cape ensernkle-Witte
matching hat and eggshell ac-
cessories. An orchid corsage
completed her costume.
The couple will reside at
R. R. #2, Clinton.

Association met at the home of
the president, Wm. J. Dickey
of Centralia and discussed plans
for a September rabbit show,
Suggestions and donations for
trophies were received by the
show committee. -
The Dutch Auction was won
by Randy Stanlake with Archie
Webber acting as auctioneer.
