completed a fine record of per-
formance production test. Hip-
dale Millie, as a five-year-old
in 305 days on twice-a-day milk-
ing produced 22, 431 lbs. milk
containing 757 lbs. fat, average
test 3. 37% butterfat. This re-
cord has a Breed Class Average

fat,

Strawberry Bavarian Cream
Hard-cooked eggs combined
with a fresh mushroom sauce
make an easy, high protein sum-
mer luncheon or supper. dish.
This week should he the heiaht
of the season for fresh Ontario
strawberries, As a variation on
the perennial favorite strawber-
ries and cream, try setting one
pint of sliced berries and one cup
whipped cream in a strawberry
flavored gelatin. ,
lEggs
12 hard -cooked eggs
2 'tsp grated onion ,
2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
1 tbsp, vinegar
3. tsp, each dry mustard and
salt
4 tsp. pepper
cup mayonnaise
1. Cut eggs into halvds length-
2: wSiisevee yolks and mbr with
onion, seasonings, mayon-
naise, and vinegar, Blend
thoroughly.
3, Refill whites with yolk mix-
ture,
Sauce
-4 cup butter
lb, mushrooms, sliced
4 green onions, sliced thin
cup flour:
1 tsp. salt
2 cups milk, scalded
4, Melt butter, add mushrooms
and onions, and cook for 5
minutes,
5. Blend in flour and salt.
6. Add milk and cook until
sauce is thick and smooth
7, Arrange eggs in serving dish
and add sauce,
Warm the combination in
oven at 325 F for 15 minutes.
9. Serve over toast points, if
desired. Serves six,
HAM AND EGG SALAD
1 cup cooked peas
cup sliced celery
cup diced green pepper
2 tablespoons finely chopped'
onion
cup chopped sweet pickle
2 cups diced cooked ham
3 hard-cooked eggs, chopped
1/3 cup salad dressing.
Combine, vegetables with
pickle and toss lightly; chill.
Just before serving, add ham
and eggs and toss with dressing.
6 servings.

1 teaspoon salt
4 teaspoon pepper
1/3 cup salad dressing
DEVILLED CHEESE DIP
1 package (4-ounce) pimiento
cream cheese
1 can (2 ounce) devilled ham
spread
1/2 cup salad dressing
2 tablespoons chopped parsley
1 tablespoon chopped green
onion
1 or 2 drops hot pepper sauce '
Dash salt
Beat cheese until fluffy. Add
remaining ingredients, combine
well and chill. Makes about

Bill O'Shea Jr. races toward home plate to score Seaforth's first run in a Pee Wee game at the Lions Park Monday night, The
run was one of three by the Seaforth team as they suffered a 20 - 3 setback at the hands of.the Listowel team. The Pee Wees
have five victories and three losses. Next week the team hosts the Crediton club. Game time is 6:30 at The Lions Park.
