ding on June 21st, at 3 ;30 p. m.
when :nary Patricia Ann Little,
Londesboro, was united in mar-
riage to Leslie George Bernard,
Clinton in a double-ring cere-
mony. Rev. C. B. Heckendo r n
officiated.
The bride is the daughter -
of Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Little,
Londesboro and the groom is
the•son of Mr. and Mrs. George
13einard, Clinton.
The bride, given in mar-
riage by her father, wore a
formal length dress with shallow
scoop neckline and lily point,,
sleeves of Chantilly lace.and
featured an empire waistline
trkInined _with lovers.,knot bow...
at centre front topping an A-
line formal length skirt Of
matching lace with a panel of
frosted silk lagoda down the
centre front. A chapel Q train
Of lace fell from the shoulders
and her linger tip veil was held
by a cluster of rose buds. She
carried a cascade of yellow
carnations.

high lined styling with match-
ing alencon Lace accents. Their
headpieces consisted of a small
cluster of rose4suds with match-
ing veil. They carried cascades
of shasta daisies. Miss Donna
Freeman was Flower Girl and
Master David Bernard, the Ring-
bearer. ' The Flower Girl's dress
was short in the same stSfle as
the ones Worn by' the brides-
maids. She caried a nosegay
of shasta daisies- and yellow
carnations.
Mr. Harvey Bernard of Clin-
ton was the Groomsman and Mr.
Brian Campbell, eaforth; Doug.
Dale of Clinton and Ted Little
of Londesboro were the Ushers.

soloist, Miss Barbara Snell,

The bride, given in marriage
by her lather_ wore a fluor,-
length gown of white lagoda
with empire, bodice accented
by a high collar and long sle-
eves. The, A-line skirt was en-
hanced by a chapel length train
draped , from waist to floor.
Chantilly lace and guipure
daisy lace with green centres
was 'edged down the front of the
dress and adorned the sleeves
and •train. To complete her
outfit, the bride chose a should-,
er length silk veil caught up by
a. Juliette cad, of guipure lace.
She carried a Ituquet of yellow
roses. •

Seattle, Washington,. Maid of
Honor and the Bridesmaids,
Mrs, Isinda Mathews, Woodstock;
Mrs. June Jacobi, London and
Miss Joyce Munn, London were
dressed alike in full-length.nile
Veen,.gowns with high neck-
lines accented with white
French embroidered lace. They
carri d bouquets of white and
yell w shasta daisies with mat-
chin flowers in their hair.

Kingston; St. Catharines, Wood-
stock; Toronto and local points.
Prior to her marriage the
bride was feted by miscellan-

Gray and Mrs. Willard Aiken,
Clinton; Mrs: Gordon Baxter,
Wingham and 'Mrs. David Mat-
hews,, Woodstock,

St. Patrick's Roman Catholic
Church, Dublin, was the setting
for the marriage of Josephine
Anne Van Bakel and Garry Wit=
Gain Van Loon at 1:30 p.
June 28. Rev. Remf.. Durand per-"
formed the double ring cere-
mony, Mr, Pail Horan was the
organist, with Miss Emma Grob-
kink, Mr. Peter Loomans and
Mr, Casey Van Bakel as the
soloists.
The bride is the daughter of
Mr. arid Mrs. Martin Van Bakel
of R. R. 1, Dublin. The groom's
parents are Mr. and Mrs. Martin
Van Loon of London.
Given away' by her 'father, the
bride wore a floor length gown
of satin with a cathedral train.
The high "neckline was- trimmed
with scalloped lace and the lily
point sleeves were enhanced
with seed pearls and rhinestones.
A crown of pearls held her elbow
length veil. She carried a, bou-
quet of yellow sweetheart roses.
The maid of honour, Miss ,
Ricki Wille ms of Seaforth, and
the bridesmaid, Miss Maria Van
Loon of London, we're dressed
alike in floor length gowns of
yellow peau de sole. The ruf-
'fled collars and elbow' length
sleeves were edged with yellow .
lace. An infected pleat at the
front was also trimmed in yel-
low lac4, Streamers fell from
a boW 'at the hack. Their floral
headpieces matched their
bouquets of mauve daisies with
yellow centres,
Mr. Tony Van LoOn of Lon-
don was the best man with Mr.
Tony Van Bakel of • Dublin and
Mr. Bryan Lavis bf Arva as ush-
ers.
The dinner and reception
were held at the. Legion Hall,
Seaforth.
For a wedding trip to the
States the bride wore a green
two-piece dress of imported
.crimylene with white and black
patent accessories and a white
orchid corsage.
Mr. and Mrs. Van Loon will
reside at R. R. 4, Seaforth.
