(Staff Photo) INTERDENOMINATIONAL SERVICES _IN HIBBERT Well attended Interdenominational Services were held at the Hibbert Township garage Sunday afternoon. Representatives of township churches took part in the service which has become an annual event, The guest speaker was Rev. A. J. Durand, MA, PhD of St, Boniface Roman Catholic Church, Zurich. DANTZER Jeremiah Harvey Dantzer of 2284 Alexie Road, Windsor, pas- sed away suddenly on June 25th, He was born in Dublin, •son of the late Andrew Dantzer and Elizabeth Doherty, and lived there until moving to Windsor in 1943. He is survived by his wife, the former Camille Meagher and one son, Victor, of Windsor, Also surviving are one brother, Andrew of London and a sister Helen, Mrs, John Nagle of Dublin, Three bro- thers, Joseph, Frank and William predeceased him. The body rested at the Janisse Funeral Home in Windsor until Saturday, June 28th. Requiem Mass was sung at Precious Blood Church, followed by interment in Heavenly Rest Cemetery in Windsor. Friends and relatives from Seaforth, Dublin, Toronto, London, Windsor and Detroit attended. Fry- fogel Inn is a short distance from Shakespeare. It was agre-, • ed to make a donation to furth- er it's progress, The W. I. will not have a display at the Mitchell fair. It was decided to have meetings in July and August. The July meeting is left to the executive to plan the prograrn and August will be an outing and picnic. Mrs. C. Friend introduced the guest speaker; Mrs. B. Can- tan the public health nurse for Perth County who discussed her duties and work in the county. Mrs, W. Annis thanked the spea- ker and presented her with a gift, Mrs. J. Cromarty Correspondent MRS, KEN McKELLAR Residents of school, section .#5 Hibbert gathered at the schoolhouse Friday .to express' their gratitude and appreciation to Mrs. Filmer Chappel for her long term of service as teacher of the children of the section. A picnic supper was enjoyed followed with games and a ball game. A programme chaired by Donald Kernick consisted of a . sing-song and interesting slides of local happenings shown .by Murray Christie. Don Christie read an address of his own com- position and Mrs, Chappel was presented with a• two-piece Big- , gage set by Joyce Norris" and Ray Johns.
