S. met , at the home pf Mrs. John Thom- 'pson in McKillop with a good attendance. The president, Mrs. Jas. Keys, welcomed the visitors and members. Prayer was given by Mrs. Robert McMillan. The July meeting will be held at , the home of Mrs. Jas. Keys when the Ladies Aid fees are to be paid. Mrs. Drover gave a reading - entitled "Diary of A Bible". Mrs. Harold Agar , the group leader, took charge of the de- votional part and Mrs. H. Van • Rooij en read a poem on "Live A Day At A Time, The Scripture Lesson Was read by Mrs. Sam McClure ta- • ken from Psalni 41. Mrs. Ivy Butt favoured with a solo "His Love Is Wonderful To Me" accompanied by Mrs.. McGregor on piano. Mrs. Harold Agar gave the topic on "Th e Church and The Youth", Mr. n and David spent the-week end in Guelph and attended the Q. A. C. Alumni Reunion and also visited with Miss Margie Whyte and Mr. and Mrs. Bob McCly- MOnt and family. Miss Kerri Medd spent the week end with Mr. and Mrs. Clifford Adams of Londesboro. Mrs. John Thompson and family visited on Saturday with Mr. Andy Thompson of London. Speakers for the day were Mr. Russ Harwood and Mr. Broadus Hodge, Regular Services, interdenominational, will start on July 6th and all are welcome. Seaforth Brownie Pack. We celebrated by invit- ing the whole family to see - what we have accomplished and join in our fun; We met at the Lions Park. The Lions are, by the way, our spon- sors And we thank the Club and the people of Seaforth for such a nice park in which to hold our meetings. After our regular op- ening, came inspection which was to check for a big Brownie smite. •Everyone passed the test and we wonder if it is because Brownies is finished for the sum- mer or a smile of anticipation for the fun to come - I hope it was the latter. Our Brownie Gold for this meeting, we decided to send to the Star Fresh Air fund so that we could held someone not as lucky as we are to have a bit nicer summer. The parents very generously donated to make our contribution very impressive and we thank them very much. Then onto the fun parr of •the evening. We had fun races where' the Brownies, their brothers And sisters competed with m others and fathets,7.- of course the Brownies won most of the prizes - and what prizes they weiel When We had completely worn the parents out, we invit- ed them to,join our Pow-wow ring. This is usually where w6 show things we have made, tell things we have done and plan for special events - but to-night was a bit different in that Brown Owl did most of -'the talking. Sandra Staffen and Angelee An- drassi were enrolled into_ our "Brownie Family" and no less' than 27 interest badges w ere presented. The Athlete Badge went to Vanda Storey, Kim Campbell, Linda Heard, Jayne Baker, Cheryl McGlure, Siob- han Kennedy, Sherry Dale, Su- san Scott, Joan Racho, Valerie Sinnamon,- Debbie Dupee, Carol Staffen has re ally been busy and was presented with the Toy- Housekeeper and Thrift Badges. Vanda Storey received in addition to the Athlete Badge-;,„ the Collector, Toy masker a n d Book Lover Badges. Other Brown- ies'presented with the Bog.Lov- er Badge were: Joan Racho, Debbie Dupee, Jayne Baker and Kim Campbell. These same four Brownies also earned the Skaters Badge. The Toymaker Badge was also earned by Linda Heard and Joan Racho. Good work, girls-! Vanda Storey and Kim Campbell skipped with a Gold- en Rope up to Brown Owl to receive their Golden Bar an d can now-start working for the Golden Hand•, the highest badge in Brownies.
