FARMERS of Ontario
You are being asked at hundreds of meetings and by
tons of high-pressure literature to vote either for General
Farm Organization or Farm Union. NIay we suggest you
do neither.. hut, vote for your FREEDOM ONLY ay vot-
ing NO to a compulsory farm organization,:i. e. VOTE
NO TO C.F. 0,
THINK BEFORE YOU VOTE on Tuesday, June 24. It will
be the most important decision of your. life. The G. F.
0. is the child of the Farm Income Report, Mr. Biggs,
and the Gov't.
We will have the G. F. O. this year, will have the quot-
as next year on all products including--beef, pork, corn,
cereal grains, none will escape... it is all in the FARM
INCOME REPORT... Read this Report. The REGIMENT- -
ATION and REGULATIONS will scare you..
G. F. 0, means quotas, expensive quotas, only the large
operators and feed co's can buy, You .will be cApletely
controlled by inspectors, regulations, quota's, have high-
er COSTS not higher profits._ we will be as helpless in
the face of this bureaucracy as we have been with the
SCHOOL BOARD,,,,,, With the same higher costs.
The best way to retain your freedom tomorrow is to VOTE
NO TO G,F, 0„ to quotas, to Gov't control, to increas-
ed costs: If you agree with us you MUST get out and
vote NO... your vote will be needed to cancel a vote
61"ofrpen, the highly-organized G, F, 0,
Ask your friends to vote NO this time too, and wait for
something better.

A pleasant evening was spent
In No. 9 School McKillop when
friends and neighbours gathered *
for a social evening to honor the
Dennis family at which euchre
was played.
Later the Dennis family were
asked by Mrs. Win. Roe to come
forward when Mrs. Jack Rosman
read an address and gifts were
presented by Bill Roe, Bob Mc-
Michael and Mrs. John Krell,
The Dennis' expressed their
thanks and hoped the friendships
may be continued in their new
homes.
Dear Friends-
When this area was known as
the Queen's Bush there came in

search of land the Dennis Family
from East Zorra. One' of th is
family was John Dennis, then
six years of age who grew to
manhood, married Mary Ross
and had a family of ten children.
We have four members of that
family here to-night. As spec-
ial friends we wish to honour in
acknowledgment of what they
have meant to us through the
years.
Life for this family began in
a log house, that was later re-
placed by the fine brick house
that stands on the 14th conces-
sion. At that time that house
with'it's indoor plumbing was
the envy of the countryside.
It takes a heap of livin' in a
house to call it home, and all
of us have participated in the
living that took place in the
Dennis home. We think of house
parties, church suppers, garden
parties, unit meetings and quilt-
ings that took place in this home
besides all the other activities
of a large family. There are
few here who have not enjoyed
a pleasant e.vening with_ a game
of cards, lots of good fun and a
beautiful lunch to top it off.
There are few too who when
there was sickness or trouble of
any kind, who did not have some
of the Dennis family there to of-
fer help, ,sympathy or whatever
was needed. It is in this respect
that we have known, Ethel, Ten-
nie and Elmer. It was many
years ago that Lorne heard the
call "Go West, young man" and
took up land in Alberta.
We regret the circumstances '
that have made it necessary for
you to leave the 14th cAcession
but we know wherever you go,
you will show the same good will
we have known for so long. We
are happy you won't he too far
away. You have given so much
of yourselves to us individually
and to all our worthwhile activ-
ities, that we wish to have a
little corner in your net home
that speaks for us. We ask you

Down- to the corner, where a
lovely lass
Waited outside, where he would
pass.
Scarce did he see the vision fair,
Her big blue eyes and curly hair,
Said he, "Come Elizabeth and
be my wife,
And I will love you all my life."
The Bride looked lovely on her
Wedding Day,
So trim and slender was she,
In her satin gown and trimmed
with pearls,
No-f-airer you would ever see.
The groom he was so dreised up,
Of course, as a groom always is,
For this was his day of days,
When the glory was all his.
The years passed along and God

hours of delight;
One girl and three boys filled

Until you celebrate again

Of Wedded Life Unbroken.
