pounds a year with, chickens
processed at the rate'of 3, 000
per hour and turkeys at 1,200
per hour. After other plant
*its, they enjoyed a smorgas-
bord dinner, dent shopping and
saw a show. ,.

at the Blue Water Rest Home,
Zurich, was taken by ambulance
Friday to South Huron Hospital.

Recent Enrolment Ceremony
Boosts Membership to 41
In a recent enrolment
ceremony the 1st Hensall Brown-
ie Pack received the following
Brownies; Lori Lovell, Lori

Deanie McClinchey, Dorna
,Williams, 'Karen 'Vonand and
Donna. Jean Allan. This bring
the total Brownie membership
to forty-one. The'Brownies are
led by Brown Owl, Mrs. Robert
Cook, Tawny Owl, Mrs. Rodger
Venner, Mrs. Eric Luther and
Kathy Cook as Packie, On
Saturday the Hensall Brownies
and Guides -with their leaders
held a picnic at Fanshawe Park,
and toured the Pioneer Village.

Brownies presented a Panorama
of Brownie days for their depart-
ing friends.

Turner, Barbara Cooper, Deana
Reaburn and Tammy Baker.

McCurdy. Tracey Turner was
the first Hensall Brownie to re-
ceive her Cook's Badge.
Following the Flying-up,
.,the Girl Guides were presented
with incentive badges earned
since January. These included
the Fire Brigade and Keep-Fit
BadgeS-which were done as a
Company as ,well as the Hortfe
Nurse, Minstrel, Cook, Knitter,
Laundress and Homemaker Bad-
ges earned through individual •
efforts. Dave Sangster, Hensall
Fire Chief and Bill Fuss showed •
two safety films stressing the
importance of care and advanc-
ed planning for fire emergency
in the home. Several Guides
then earned their Hostess Badges
by serving lunch to the Brownies
and guests.
Thomas • Kyle, resident of
the Blue Water Rest Home, and
a Hensall resident for many
years, celebrated his 90th birth-
day on Saturday. -

week end with relatives in
Toronto.
