Should a fire result at any time, and it is necessary to turn in an alarm, Phone 527-1100, and advise location and fletails of the fire. It has been noted that children gather near the Fire Hall when an alarm is sounded. To avoid accidents, please warn your child- ren to stay clear of fire hall 'doors and truck route. Pupils rangingtin age from 21. to seven formed 'a group of about 60 for one teacher to control. When the new'teacher Mr. David Rennie took over he taught us to sing - a new subject in those days. We had one hour-long period in forenoon and two in the afterno- on. He was a kindly gentleman with great enthusiasm for music. and soon we were shouting lustily. Shortly after Mr. Rennie be- came principal of a large school in Ottawa.
