MRS. LORNE ,S,C, RIMGEOUR
Mrs. Lorne Scrilngeour, 86,
of Blyth, died Sunday at Clin-
ton Public Hospital. ,„
Mrs. Scrimgeour had been a
correspondent from Blyth for
area papers for many years.
She had also been active in
the work of the Blyth Horticul-
tural Society and the Blyth Agri-
cultural Society. ghe was a
long time worker in the Huron
Liberal Association.
Surviving are her hOsband,
Lorne; three sons, Murray of
Tillionburg; Clifford of Belle-
ville, and Everett of Blyth;
three daughters, Mrs. Fern
Cameron, Kitchener; Mrs. Russell'
(Hazel) Baxter, Chatham, and
Mrs. Joseph (Margaret) Marks,
Windsor.
The body was at the Tasker
Funeral Home, Blyth, 'where
the, funeral servicewas held.
Tuesday at 2 p. m. Burial fol-
lowed in Blyth Union Cemetery.
ANSON COLEMAN
Anson Coleman, 67, Clinton,
died Saturday at Clinton Public
Hospsit
Hospital.
He was born in Stanley Town-
Ship, son of the late Mr. and
'Mrs. John George Coleman
where he farmed until retiring
to Clinton six years ago. He
was a member of Ontario Street
United Church, Varna LOL Lodge
1035 and Huron Masonic Lodge

Harvey Coleman, Ralph Turner,
Earl Love.

79, died Sunday in hospital -at

former Ethel Williams. She
was married' in Toronto in 1929
to Charles Counter who 'predec-
eased her in 1962...r They 'came
to Seaforth in.1958. She was a
member of St. James Roman
Catholic Church. and C. W. L.
She is survived by one daugh-
ter, Mrs, Herman (Patricia)
Mallinger, Toronto; and one si-
ster, Mrs. Walter (Marguerite)
Tardiff, Montreal, also two
grandchildren.
The body was at the R. S. Box
Funeral ,Home until 10 a. in:.
Tuesday when requiem high mass
was celebrated at Sr. James'
Church, Seaforth. Burial follow-
ed in St. James' cemetery. '
Pallbearers were Bill-McGrath,
John Kunz, P. 0. McConnell,
D'Orlean Sills, John Nioylan and ,
Arthur Devereaux.
Those who attended from a., -
distance included Mrs. Walter

During National Health Week
the Ontario Psychiatric Hospital
welcomed visitors who wished to
tour the wards and treatment
areas. All'students in grade el-
even accompanied by Miss
Weiler and Mr. Reidy visited the
hospital. They were allowed to
visit the wards and see the mod-
ern facilities aneinethods of
treatment. The theory of psy-
chiatric treatment was explained
to the students who are studying
human emotions in their health
courses this year, The visit was
an educationat'and rewarding
experiefiec.
TRACK AND FIELD
The students who achieved
first and second prizes in the
track and field meet two weeks
ago will attend the 111er-on-Perth
track meet in St, Marys, on
May 14.
CADET' INSPECTION
The cadets are preparing them
selves fol inspection. The date
Set is Friday, May 16th at 2 o'-
clock. Everyone is welcome to
attend.
DRAMA CLUB
The members of the Drama
Club who presented the play,
Charlie's Aunt, journeyed to
Toronto accompanied by Miss
Hatten and Mrs. Hansen. They
travelled by subway from Union
Station to College Street where
they were allowed to shop. They
then took the subway to Queen
Street and walked from Simpsons
to O'Keefe Centre where they
saw "The Fiddler on the Roof".
After the Show they ate dinner
at the airport. Thes'e members
presented an excellent product-
ion and well deserved a day in
Toronto.
