Farmers will be asked three
additional questions as direc-
tion. to delegates to the found-
ing convention of the new or-
ganization — Should member-
ship require a voluntary pay-
ment regardless '101 the amount
of checkoff paid by the indivi-
dual?
' — Should membership be
automatic if a farmer pays- a
checkoff whether large or small?
— Should membership re-
quire some minimum level of
contribution toward the GFO
which could come from a cora-
bination of a checkoff and a
voluntary.. payment?
The GFO Campaign Commit-
tee will circulate sufficient
samples of the ballot so that
every farmer can have a copy
well ahead of the vote.
Local campaign canvassers
will be' asked to use the ballot
as an aid to explaining the pro-
iposal and the options- on the
ballot.
