HomeMy WebLinkAboutThe Huron Expositor, 1969-04-17, Page 5There was plenty of action when SDHS students present-
ed their annual Variety Night program on Friday before a
capacity audience. As is Usually the case the routines present-
ed by the gymnastic groups were highlights. This year while
girls teams Were featured for the first time it wasn't without
some help from the boys. Brian Leonhardt who poses (above)
was one of those who helped out, (Photos by Alan, McLean).

Should membership require
some minimum level of .contri-
bution toward the GFO which
,could come from a combination
of checkoff and, a voluntary
payment? (If a majority of farm-
ers vote for the third alternat-
ive the Founding Convention
would set a minimum level of
payment required for member-
ship. A farmer who had paid 'in
checkoff the amount set at the
convention, would automatically
be eligible for membership with-
out further payment. If the mon-

not reach that level the farmer
would be required to pay enough

Mr. Davidson points out that
regardless of the form of Mem-
bership chosen by ballot, every
farmer who produces and mar-
kets 'one or more farm products
will be eligible to become a
