A YEAR IN CANADA the littron xposittor $4, The weekly dance was held in the auditorium, with the following residents making up the orchestra, Miss Della Peart on the piano, Mrs. Mary Taylor and John Leeming on the mouth organ, Norman Speir, Miller Adams and John Leeming with violin, Jerry Collins playing =rocas and Jim Barrie cal- ling off. A Wheel-Chair watz started the dance, followed by waltzes two steps and heel and toe polka,Rye Waltz and French Minuet with wheel chair dances sprinkled in. The Hokey-Pokey dance with Mrs. Jan Byisma calling off is fast growing to be a favourite. Miss Barbara Miller and Ervine Johnston con- tributed a step dance. The Sing Song and tea provided by the C.F.B. ladies and Clinton Kinettes the last Wednesday of each month was held in the auditorium last Wednes- day. Padre Youmatoff, led the sing-song accom- panied by his daughter along with music by the Huronview Orchestra. Tea and cookies were served to the residents by Kihettes, Mary Jean Beattie, Evelyn Archer, Marg. Fleming, Pat Mann, Barb Norman, Carole Kerrigan and Mrs. Hack of the C. F.B. The Family Night program last week featured sli desof England, Ireland and Scotland shown by Mr. and Mrs. Stewart Middleton of Trycle A Farms of their trip overseas along with some local pictures. The Huronview Orchestra provided some lively Irish music following the slides of Ireland with two residents Barbara Miller and Ervine John- ston doing an Irish Jig. This week's Family Night program will consist of musical numbers by Adam Wilson, Watson Webster, Albert Craig accompanied by Mrs. Webster, The residents' bingo was held in the Craftroom on Friday afternoon. Winners were Mrs. Broome, Mrs. Jones, Mrs. Armstrong, Mrs. J. Young, Louis Wild, Herbert Collar and Mr. H. Cutt. The Sunday Evenin g service of song which is held in the auditorium on the last Sunday evening of each month conducted by the Christian Reform Church well attended and appreciated by the residents. STORE --CLINTON ONTARIO— AREA FUNERAL HARVEY HENRY TAYLOR At his home in Hullett town- ship, on November 21, 1970, Harvey Henry Taylor passed away after a long illness. The youngest son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Henry Taylor, he lived all his life in Hullett. He is survived by his wife, the former Margaret Cudmore Of Clinton, to whom he was mar- ried in 1937. They have one daughter Mrs. Harry (Marilyn) Brydges and one son , Laurence H. of R.R. 1 Londesboro as well as three grandchildren, Craig, Stephen and Elizabeth Brydges. Also surviving are two sisters, Florence of Victoria, B.C., Mrs. Verne (Annie) Dale of RR 1 Clinton and one brother Laurence of Victoria, B.C. He was pre- deceased by four sisters and two brothers. The body rested at the Ball Funeral Home, Clinton where the service was held on Nov- ember 23, conducted by Rev. S. MacDonald of Londesboro United Church. The pallbearers were Jim Jamieson, Don Buch- anan, Oliver ,Anderson, Gordon Cudmore, Pete Dunlop, Jim Arm- strong. The flowerbearers were Craig Brydges, Earl Lawson and Eric Anderson. Interment fol- lowed in Maitlandbank Cemetery, Seaforth. Seaforth voters will be asked to go to the polls next Monday to elect a council from eight candidates. All other municipal offices have been filled by acclamation but County School board members must also be elected.
